Wurm Needs Manure

Recommended Posts

Manure provides a synergy between animal husbandry and farming.   Applying manure to a farm tile should increase the chance of higher yield.    Having live stock simply drop manure randomly may strain the database so perhaps the manure should be harvested directly from the animals themselves or from a crafted "manure pile" populated by sufficiently nearby livestock.  Any other ideas?

This suggestion stinks.

Edit: Couldn't be helped.

I'll +1 this one. But only if we can throw the manure about here in the forums.

When animals graze from a farm tile, as well as moving the current stage back one, it also adds to the yield calculation.

It has been this way for some time.

I think you are missing the point Tich. It seems there are some people out there that actually want the option to play with the scat.

Sneaky Tich... keeping all the good info to herself.

Aye Wurm needs more nightsoil and ######! Aside from the description ingredients for certain yellow potions...

This cant be true. I have plenty of farm tiles and they all yield the same numbers with or without animals on them.

Tich didn't say anything about how this calculation is made.

might be:

max(FarmActions/3 + min((skill + toolql)/20, 2) + IsGroomed + ManureCount/100, 10) = Yield

+1.

Manure could increase yield and quality ( chance to get to ql of manure )
