Graphics Problem [Solved]

Hey ! 


 


I found this game quite interesting but i have some problems. When i launched game, i cant see the letters or the ingame visuals properly. Also it is way too laggy. I tried to dedicate ram to Java but didnt work. Would you help me please ?

Try going into your Nvidia Control panel to be sure that the game is using your Nvidia graphics card.  Also be sure you have the most current video drivers from the Nvidia site and not the windows drivers.


 


If that doesn't help, post your console log here.

right click desktop and select nvidia control panel, then go on Set PhysX Configuration and select physyx as gpu.


 


anyway i think u need newer drivers for your graphics card for the game to choose the card and not the cpu incorporated one. and i think that is because your incorporated gfx card has more recent open gl drivers than your nvidia card.

You're turkish by any chance? There's a problem with the character mapping with some of the I characters (like in ACT?VATE_TOOL1) which prevents the client to load textures with an I in the name.

I don't think there's a solution to this despite selecting a different locale.

Please try this:

Run the following command (Windows-key + R)

C:\Windows\System32\javaws.exe -J-Duser.country=us -J-Duser.language=en http://www.wurmonline.com/client/wurmclient.jnlp
This should run Wurm with English (US) locale and avoid the character transformations.

You can create a shortcut with same command if it works.

@viruskiller I updated my drivers and did everything you told me but didnt work.

My last problem is i am still having some graphic problems such as terrain and walls dissapear and they appear again. Is there a solution for this ? 


 


Edit : It seems that i couldnt follow the viruskiller's instructions. Now i am using my graphics card therefore all of the graphic problems solved. Thanks for the help ! Please lock the thread.
