Waterdeep (A Work In Progress)

Recommended Posts

We've had several comment positively on our deed and many have been interested in its layout/design.
So we are posting here to share our experience...

My wife (Awngeleak) and I (Tuanta) bought Cape Hazard a few months back.
We renamed it to Waterdeep and began work... (The name seemed fitting since it is located on the West Coast and I am a fan of "old school" D&D)
Location: Waterdeep (x4, y19located on a Peninsula (Turned Island) in the Central West Coast of Pristine (Size 59x57)

Really impressive (and inspiring) work.  I'm assuming at least half (if not more) of those 10k 99ql veins are from Rods (perhaps previous owner)?

Thanks very much Kruggan.

The three Iron were pre-existing. All other veins were placed using rods.

cool - wow.  i both envy and feel sorry for your pocket book :)

It's not that bad if you have a trader.

The rods cost 50s yet you can immediately get back 12s after purchase. (so they really only cost 38s per)

Plus the traders brings in an additional 12s per month in profit if managed right.

...the hula snowman i mean of course. :P

But the rest is pretty cool too. Especially the birds-eye kinda view in your "after" spoiler, that mountain on the other side seems to be the perfect spot to observe your place hehe.

May I ask how do you immediately get back 12s after purchase? I have not yet purchased a rod so if it is something obvious this is why I do not know it.

A percentage of the cost for some items is given to the trader to purchase items from players. Around 12s usually when buying a rod. So I you bring enough higher ql items or even enough low ql items to sell to the trader for 12s you can get that money back.

Have other trader items on you after you purchase and drain the money back. So Rings, Statues, ropes, spindles, whatever you normally use to drain a trader.
