Looking at that picture, shouldn't it be easily possible to allow houses to be planned over rock, and then therefore allowing tunneling? Of course the rock would have to be flat, but that's what surface mining is for. That would be awesome if you could have underground basements or secret entrances into town!

I do hope that multi-story only looks at carpentry level for the first floor and not every story of the building even with max carp that would severely cut down on design ideas if every floor looked at carp lvl, that's a lot of extra walls and floors to take into account...
