Had this problem for quite a while here. I use Firefox and could not paste youtube vids here. Ends up I read the following and since then it's worked here. Spoiler In firefox I was able to fix the copy and paste problem by going to the address bar and putting this in "about:config" a page comes up, click i'll promise to be safe or something like that, search/scroll down to dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled and setting that to "False" and I now can paste text or links. I do have to say that my setting was already False, so I changed it to True, and that's how it was fixed for me. So I recommend looking at what yours is set at, changing to the opposite and crossing your fingers. If it doesn't solve your problem, I'd switch back.
