Posted June 12, 2012 Yesterday I made a post in City Hall in the forums suggesting the following changes. People opposed mainly to that there is no raiding planned:A note: There are three different states a player can be in now: Allied, Non-Allied or Non-Citizen.Alliances are there to let people group up and create a safe area against enemies.Alliances will be at war automatically on Chaos. The main reason for this is to prevent spaghetti coding and make it obvious to everyone. Basically - if you want to be friends with someone let the alliance grow. Use the feature to exempt villages from your roles in the role settings.Non-allied villages will be considered enemies of all alliances but they will not be enemies between themselves.Non-Citizens will be killable as usual but not considered enemies (and have a red outline) to anyone unless their reputation goes down. Outlaws should be enemies to all villages.Alliance war declarations have been removed since they should only war on Chaos. Village war declarations remain in case two villages want to war on a home server.(New) player corpses will always be lootable on the Chaos server by everyone.A bugged setting could make you lose reputation when attacking other players on the Chaos server. This was fixed.Off deed structures can now be bashed with strength 21 on Chaos. You may now take items from structures owned by players who are in a village which is your enemy on Chaos.Embarking as a captain on a vehicle on Chaos now makes it your property if it’s owned by a village which is your enemy. You should also be able to pick the lock of items and vehicles belonging to enemy villages and alliances. You may now go unlawful on Chaos (except mayors and kings).Skillgain for sacrificing Supreme+ items was toned downAgg range of hell hounds was reduced a bitThe HOTA changed and may now run the Saro Edition, where pillars spawn one after another instead of all at onceView the full article
Posted June 12, 2012 For sure if you can put in a way for the die hards to raid each other you will get praises..other than that This looks like a good start and I hope it works out to benefit everyone playing Wurm.Never realized there was skillgain from saccing rares??? is this a timed bonus or for a specific skill? Posted June 12, 2012 So only thing that happend basicly is there is more hardcoding now...we won't lose rep now for killing but there was no killing anyway because there is no reason to pvp because of no raiding...So basicly rolf just kept us blind with lies and now some hardcoded useless changes are suposed to make us happy?(ok not true, we can now bash ofdeed structures!!! that was worth 7 months of waiting...)

Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) You do know the progress to multistory and visible armor is being worked on alongside any changes Rolf is making to Chaos right?Anyway, a slight issue to be had here is the starter deeds on Chaos are now hostile to anyone in an alliance (haven't been able to test it with a toon not in a village). That could use a bit of work. Otherwise a good set of updates. Heres hoping everything gets ironed out properly. Edited June 12, 2012 by Brigander

Posted June 12, 2012 Yes oh master of enlightenment.I know whats causing it. I'm curious as to why starter deeds weren't exempt from that rule.
