Posted March 2, 2012 Trying to get my nephew computer to run Wurm online but I get a variety of responses fron Black screens to instant crashes to delayed crashes.....so here is the client crash logs: It says: Could not create window with selected width and height. The error was: <Pixel format not accelerated> It's possible you might figure out whats wrong from the log file below, but if you can't, post the full log on the wurm online forums, and some one might be able to help me. Posted March 2, 2012 Could not create window with selected width and height. The error was: <Pixel format not accelerated> This means you either dont have a graphics card that is capable of OpenGL or the driver for the Graphics card doesnt support OpenGL (Usually from Windows Update). Check which Graphics card you have an update the drivers from the manufacturers website (www.intel.com , ati.amd.com , www.nvidia.com) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted March 2, 2012 ok I was able to find the drivers for updating and Updated. Now whenever you move its all choppy and kind of Stutter stepping & jerky. I have set all the Graphics settings to their bare minimums and it only has slightly improved things. it has an intelR. 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset for a graphics card. Posted March 3, 2012 If it's a desktop PC I'd recommend buying a cheap nvidia (or amd) video card to replace the intel gpu. The intel 910 is a rather old gpu and has been crap on release 8 years ago. I've had laptops with the intel 915 until about 4 years ago and the intel x4500 until december and it was no fun at all. Even at the lowest settings I did experience the same choppyness. The new laptop has a rather simple nvidia gpu (compared to the cards available for desktop pcs) and it's running 2 clients at good settings without problems.
