Allow trading from freedom to epic and viceversa

Recommended Posts

-1 keep your easy difficulty server outside of freedom.  if you want to participate in the freedom market, take the training wheels off, and make a character in Freedom.

You too Rocky, get your grown up pants on and grind like a man.

Why is it incorrect? I have heard from many other people that past 70 skills , it's just as hard on epic to grind due to the effective curve which makes gains very small.

Often because people forget to adjust what they're grinding and how to account for the effective skill they're using. Skillgain on Epic at any given skill level is ALWAYS faster than Freedom if you're skilling in the optimum manner.

and that's exactly where the problem is, in many cases it's incredibly hard to do so, in some cases it's completely impossible such as meditating or creation skills where you just can't go any lower than 1ql and there are no harder items.  it also reaches "impossible" levels when trying to utilize the double skillgain when imping beyond your means, as the difficulty/level is based on your effective (as you reach 90 skill you need to be imping over 99.23ql to get double skillgain) so it's actually easy in comparison for freedom to get the same skill gain amounts as epic using this feature.  you're far more likely to get people that can make you or give you items that are at the right level for you to imp on freedom than epic so really, if people truly are optimal in realistic ways then freedom and epic isn't very different.  epic just has (mostly) easier early game at the cost of late game, with similar end result
