Posted April 22, 2017 do we really need rarities on theses materials, with this function i'm not able to drop trees or logs stone and stone bricks and such, into Bins, due to the rarity issue, so please remove that, I can understand on tools and such, but building materials? Posted April 22, 2017 (edited) when i first saw the title i thought u mean tree stumps. guess i was wrong... rare materials can be used to improve items and their rarity can transfer or they can be attached to items to transfer their rarity aswell, depending on the actual item. while there are some items that currently are useless, such as rare+ slate and sandstone shards, pretty much every other rare material has some kind of use. edit: i remembered i saw this thing into the WU mod category a few days back, i think you were a WU player, so u might wanna check it out: Edited April 22, 2017 by Arium Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted April 22, 2017 If you consume the material you have a chance of transferring the rarity, and there's plenty of tools you could try and rare with it, or you can just sac them for 99% food/nutrition. Posted April 23, 2017 after reading the posts here, and thinking about it, maybe you guys are right, about it, I mean I can remove the rarity as a GM, I tried cutting one up with a hatchet, but it still leaves one log that rare, I've not considered the ramifications of removing it all together, so yeah i'll -1 this as well. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This only worsens the problem because then they would be a true rare and subject to stratified price increases by those who make adds to sell rares. Rarely can you solve a problem by making it more rare to emerge. This only makes them more cautious in their appearance so as not to be noticed. Then you think there are no more rare trees when they only hide themselves more cleverly amongst the fallen leaves.
