I don't think i have thought they were a good addition to the game since it was added. The fights with the most common ones aren't fun, and they aren't challenging, considering the only mechanic they have is AOE stunlock.

Make them difficult, like uniques, or something, but, they shouldn't have the ability to straight up instant nuke your gear and instant kill someone.

Just yesterday, myself, a 60 body champion, got into combat with five or six nogumps and in less than 10 seconds I was under half health. My horse died in under one second because the second it entered combat they stunned it and twoshot it. I just don't see how thats fun for anyone, and if you weren't a champion, you likely wouldn't have survived for two or three seconds regardless of what your account is like, what kindve fun is that supposed to create? Even i don't have to worry about the strongest unique in the game instantly killing me if i dont have all the DR buffs in the game.

Its also not something you can easily avoid, as if you enter combat with lets say a nogump, you will pretty much be in the "Stunned" status the entire fight, with maybe one or two seconds here and there where you aren't. Drakespirits are more managable because you can actually stand at the edge of combat radius and not get stunned, thus avoiding the nogump situation.

I also think the worst part is all valrei mobs prioritize hitting your horse over you, and they can run like 25km'h.

Tell you a secret - you're not supposed to fight five or six nogumps

EDIT: +1 tho because they're one of the main reasons people are afraid of PVP

I think they are ok to stay around, but tbh, they need a lot of work. Not only in the area of combat, but in spawn trends and loot drops.

True, but, sometimes it is unavoidable.

We have had them spawn on us and cause us to lose a fight in the past, because, what are you going to do? Run? odds are someones horse got instantkilled and theyre already stunlocked and half dead before you realize the lightning hit.

Stun immunity means nothing you get stunned for like 15 seconds each bash, cant block or parry when stunned

Tell you a secret. if a new player comes across this, they won't escape or have a choice BUT to fight the five / six no gumps, they're super fast.
Regular horses unless 5 speed will have trouble on a road, if they go up, forget about it.

It's really bad for new players and players with not the best horses/gear..They're OP.

just make gumps slower by 20-30%

easy change, world of difference

a proper rework would be great though

plain removing would make me sad

a reward for killing valrei mobs could help keep their pop down and make encountering them more fun

even just 50-300 karma points depending on creature could work

This so much no reason to kill them they just stack up nail on the head.

make them all die when the scenario ends or something

Or have them live two weeks so that they don't build up and aren't tied to epic.
