"Working gloves" - optional tool vs. "Hand tool"

Recommended Posts

The skills involving hand as tool or no tools like forage / botanize are way harder to grind or potentially slower to use than most that use an actual tool as common enchants are not usable on them.

My suggestion is to introduce a working glove which could be used OPTIONALLY* instead of the hand tool and for collecting skills which require no tool - this way the affected skills could benefit from CoC / WoA etc. Could be worth to consider adding some benefit using a working glove against bare hand - slightly better ql or increased amount collected maybe.

*Optionally - don't make the life of fresh players harder as they will naturally want to forage / botanize from day 1.

Can't emphasize how many +1 you get from me.

This would help my pottery so much.

The sickle idea would be useless for pottery.  +1000 to this idea.

Jaz, i rem we talked about something like this a long time ago and you posted a similar suggestion back then, i still agree.

I was very much unsure if it was already posted ... if finally it happened so sorry for being it duplicate.

I also agree that water works strange for smithing...

you were the one that posted it long time ago, but it was so long ago not sure it would be right to call it a duplicate :)

Maybe just allow cloth gloves to be enchanted, instead of a separate item? Or any glove? I like the idea!

a massive +1 toward either a working glove
or allow us to enchant our armoured gloves and have them apply to the hand icon in the crafting interface.

I could probably have explained that better.

Yup that would definitely be great idea. Armor glove can also work for that.

+1 The idea of a glove already in game would be useful. Some spell that priests already have like bless to turn it into enchanted work glove. Then be able to cast coc/woa on it.

Can't you cast them already? I'm sure i've done numerous WoAs on armour as well as AoSPs on tools. They just don't work... at the moment.

You can cast woa/coc on things like armor.

I +1 this suggestion, but at the same time, will be annoyed if it gets implemented because smiths are still screwed with coc/woa water... and the only other "tool" that gets the same screwing is the hand.
