Would you like to have your own deed for free?

Recommended Posts

I am looking for an adventurous soul who would like to have their own deed but cannot afford to pay for one. I have found a location I wish to settle a deed in, but do not feel like putting effort into it, since I already am working on my own deed, and have no time to devote to a second one.

What I offer:

-A safe place to get you started. If you are new to the game, a deed is exactly what you are looking for. You get a place of your own to store your stuff securely and get acquainted with the game.

-A bed and a planned house. I will plan your house if you require me to, and provide a bed for you and one alt or friend, at a minimum.

-A Vynora Conversion and an Altar. If you would like to be converted to Vynora, I can take care of that for you. There will also be a Vyn altar in walking distance from the deed. If you prefer another religion, it can be arranged.

-Near full access and rights to the whole deed. I will hold the deed, but it will be yours to do as you please, with a few exceptions. Plan, build, craft, dig, mine, farm, breed... You will have access to near all the rights a mayor has and you will run the place as you see fit. None of that asking for permission to do stuff. The place is yours.

-No tasks to do, except those that you set for yourself. Although I will ask for help from time to time, just like any friend would, I won't make you make stuff for me. I will bargain and barter with you like anyone else. You will not be my slave.

-Monthly Upkeep paid for. I will pay upkeep at the deed size I want. You are allowed to request a size increase, as long as you pay for the extra silver, however.

-A rowboat. I will build you a rowboat if you cannot make one yourself.

-Freedom. You can do what you want, at the pace you want, with a very few limitations. See below.

-The possibility to acquire the deed for yourself in time. We can certainly discuss this.

What I want/expect:

-Community. Although not required to, I would love if you can get villagers to join your deed.

-Friendship. Simply said, don't be a douche. If I need help building a tower, for example, chip in a little and help me out. Go hunting with me, exchange crops, hang out and give me a hand here and there. Let's play the game!

-Ownership of the deed is mine. I am being clear about this to avoid misunderstandings. Although you are in charge of the deed and you can run it as you see fit, the deed belongs to me. If things don't work out between you and me, I hold the right to replace you. Until such time as we come to an agreement otherwise, I will hold the deed, and have the right to make any decisions regarding it (sell, add other villagers, build a house, use it, etc.) I am a very friendly person and very open minded so I don't expect trouble, but want to make it clear.

-You need to be active and your main must live at the deed. This is not a storage location nor a summer retreat for your shipping empire. If I don't see you using and/or developing the deed and hanging out in the area, I will replace you. If you need to leave for an extended period, you need to let me know and we'll discuss things then.

-Community courtesy rules apply. This list is not all inclusive. It should go without saying, but don't steal, don't harass other players, and don't cause drama. There are a few people around my deed who are friends, and troublemakers are not welcome.

tl;dr

I'm looking for someone who wants to have their own deed and not pay for it. I will pay for the deed for you to run, but the deed will be mine. Interested parties, contact me directly here or by pm.

I like that :) Hope you get someone awesome.  Some of my best friends were made in Wurm.

You'd be surprised how many people take stuff for granted. I met a person in my old deed when I first started. It was my closest neighbor. He was working on this dirt mound he called deed and had no home. I went over and built a house for him. Another person who lived nearby asked me how much I charged. None. He asked me why not.

Just because Wurm places a currency value in each action (1k digs = 1k iron coins) it doesn't mean that you HAVE to charge it. Videogames are there to have fun, and friends should help each other out. We shouldn't put a value to our enjoyment of the game.

Ah thank you. Its hardly a big deal, given I wanted to deed the place anyways. Just letting someone else enjoy it while I do my thing.
