Of Artifacts and Crafting

A comment in another thread got me to wondering if having some artifacts double as tools would be too much or fine.

It certainly would provide yet another incentive to obtaining them, or at least getting the ones that are not in much demand pvp-wise.

 

For example the Finger of Fo acting as a needle.

 

On the otherhand, maybe too much of a good tool...

I mentioned this in passing to a few people. It would at least give them a use that couldn't be said to be "OP in combat".

 

Perhaps an imbue of a specific crafting type by default?

How would this affect charges, if at all?

What about things like damage?

Well, at least things like the hammer already double as a really good large maul.  It's like double damage of a large maul or something

 

I can't think of too many things that make sense offhand for crafting
