PVP ban violation - Roman attack on two VD deeds

Romans attacked two settlements tonight in direct violation of PVP bans. They were warned in local chat when they popped the first settlement alarm.

 

The second deed was popped ten minutes later. 

 

In both cases they have raided the deeds before so their location was no surprise.

 

Later they came back to the first deed and announced "[23:08:58] <Nahjo> oops" when they climbed up onto the deed middle layer.

 

Support tickets seem to be closing on this issue without contact or resolution. Not acceptable unless PVP ban has been lifted without announcement.

I guess Romans have poor raid leadership since another member of your team popped the same deed 10 minutes earlier plus about 3 weeks ago you raided the same place 24 strong.

 

No doubt in my mind that intent was there to break the rules.

tbh i totally forgot about the raid ban. but my intention wasn't to raid you, it was to try and get a few kills.

It's a good thing that other kingdoms actually take time to follow the rules and respect them. We also educate ourselves on what we are allowed to do in the game.

 

Of course communications must be really messy over in Rome since the logs I posted above clearly show that the leader of your raiding party, was warned he was in violation, many minutes before you also violated the same rules.

 

The crazy thing is we gave a friendly warning and only submitted the support ticket when Rome wilfully disregarded the officially stated PVP ban and our kind warning that they were violating it.

 

Obviously what you need is a bit of time away from game to really learn the importance of following the rules of the game. Maybe that will be just the incentive needed to do the right things from now on.

I agree with you Bix hence no complaints about the death that occurred when Zombify engaged you guys out in the open.

 

The problem is what happened both before and after that. Deeds were popped before and after the death. You've been to them before in strength and in one case actually did a clean sweep loot so awareness of location was clearly there.

 

What I am not hearing is an apology to anyone for breaking the rules, ignoring the ban and generally thinking your group is above the law that the rest of us follow.

 

Personal accountability is a very important and good thing.

Roman memories are notoriously short unfortunately. It seems that raiding a deed and looting it completely bear doesn't leave a great memory in their heads.

personal accountability and GM's findings are two completely different things, but of course if you want to bring it in then I guess Rome was in good standing when we got through your mine doors :^)
