Posted June 19, 2015 How does one remove an alter? I went to bash and discovered I was unable to... (We've been able to do it before, while still Libila followers...) Desecrate does no damage to the alter, and only harms the person doing it. Haven't attempted "Break Alter" yet, but nobody online has the faith/favor to do so currently. Any suggestions? Or idea's on similar issues with this? Fungus continues to spread through these lands, and we need it to stop! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) Basically one cannot easily remove an altar, aside from waiting for good old decay, especially on pve servers if its for an allied god The options already mentioned are for usage primarily on pvp servers, and there its are not easy even with the appropriate skills up. Desecrate uses the Exorcism skill. It seemed to help if the god's channeling item was activated for that one in the past, not sure now. Also altars of high ql are really difficult to take out with low skill. Then there's artifacts; though, they play more of a role for destroying the main altars (aka Lights). Break Altar as mentioned is an alternative to the Exorcism skill at least for player altars. It also functions on the main Lights. As Black-Light turned White-Light we don't have Champions (Which I was told might help..) So I'll see if anybody has the ability to do this tomorrow.. as it's 78 QL Alter Thanks for the help guys, I wanna put a metal Fo alter up in it's place.. Posted June 19, 2015 As i have a tosiek priest on freedom desecrate was an excelent way to get negative aligment ticks.Though the ql of the altars were below average i did manage to destroy a fo and a vyn stone altar...Failing will get you some really bad wounds, so have some cotton and heali g covers handy.On the 2 successful desecrates i got 1 point in exorcism each time...I suspect metal altars would be harder to get a successful desecrate.
