40% skill gain increase on Xanadu

Lag.

We all suffer and there is no resolution on the way. The game timer ticks are happening approximately 40% slower than intended. You will notice this in extended pregnancy times, plant growth rates and deed upkeeps draining slower.

What happens when you perform skilling actions? You skill up 40% slower than intended. Someone once told me that they come to Xanadu to skill, because their SB lasts much longer. They didn't realize it wasn't actually a good thing.

If we are paying full price for our characters that live on Xanadu, we should be able to gain skills at an equivalent rate of speed as the small servers. Either that, or make the premium timer ticks the same as server ticks, so our premium will last 40% longer.

100% of skill gain increase on Independence because it`s older than Xanadu.

 

 

Or 40% on Xanadu but increase the cost of maintaining premium toons twice as on other servers or allow to trade them at max 50% of the regular price.

+1 since even without slowed down skill increase, the time wasted by waiting for the game to finally show you where you are or perform the actions you want make skilling almost impossible to keep up and more than twice as frustrating as it would have to be.

is that because you suffered lag, slower skilling and paid full prem prices for years, so why should newer people get an advantage?  I'm curious, not trying to start an arguments or anything.

EDIT: Also, I haven't been on Xanadu for a little while so unless the lag has gotten significantly worse since I left I don't see how skillgain is 40% slower.

You want to live on a bigger server, you accept the lag.

There's plenty (literally plenty) of other servers that don't have lag issues if it's such a problem you can move back to.

don't forget to tell people that due to this famous lag, you can big time (ab)use it. As your sleepbonus counts for ... 40% longer. There is a reason all the famous crafters are on xanadu, just learn to (ab)use the system

It needs reset to a different size map. A smaller map size, not much smaller but whatever size they "can" actually handle without lag.

Lag aside there are also other problems

Mob dispersion

Player dispersion

Too much water and too many mountains

Travel issues ( sailing)

 

Resetting to a smaller map size addresses all those and the lagg.
