Posted February 21, 2015 Hi everyone! I am Vornak, and I have decided to settle down on the server of pristine. I ended up heading south-west from Blossom along the coast line, and stumbled upon a sign that said something like "Forest and flat land this way" or something like that. So I headed up that way.Found a nice little spot with a nearby guard tower and a fountain and figured this was a good enough spot as any to get started. So I built a 1x1 shed, started a little farm with some mixed crops, and I just started to fence off the area yesterday. Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm still a pretty new player to this game. However I did play a year ago for a month or two just to check this game out. I believe I started on the Deliverance server because I discovered awesome videos on YouTube by FactionalFight about this game. Of course I had to start on the same server as they play on. But I had a pretty rough start. Died quite a few times, and I never bothered to run back to my body because I figured all my stuff was lost upon death. Haha.And I think I got overwhelmed by the complexity of this game, so I eventually stopped playing after about a month or so. Recently however, I had a random urge to give Wurm Online another chance. I even invited a friend of mine to join me and show him around, because I loved the concept of the game. But for some reason I had a heck of a time surviving on Deliverance. Anyway, I have to say my time on Pristine has been really enjoyable so far. Had a really great week so far, haven't died once yet. And a few of the players I've run into have been really friendly. Actually come to think of it, I have never run into a player that hasn't been friendly. I have to say the player base in Wum is really fantastic! So yeah, again just wanted to say Hi. EDIT: Actually upon further review... heh heh, I have determined I reside on H13 on the in game map. A bit further south from the coast. Posted February 21, 2015 you'll get to know the land and where abouts you are by looking at the mountains and such, and using your compass or the direction of the wind blowing smoke off a campfire, something i find way cool x)i know pristine pretty well by now, i was born there when it arose from the sea. if you ever wish to explore around on horse or boat let me know! usually whenever a dragon comes out of their cave is a good time for that and Welcome! Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) Hello Vornak! I'm located on the other side of the mountain from ye, to the southeast. Though, such travel is very difficult if you don't know the mountain well. Especially now that most of the mountain is a ghost town and rampant with overgrown critters. Glad to see someone setting up shop here in Pristine. It's really a nice server. Posted February 21, 2015 Hi and welcome to the best server in Wurm I know that sign you saw lol, most of the deeds down there on the coast where that is are my alliance mates (like Cecci) and you are in a great spot to get help if need anything. Keep an eye out for Lisabet, our leader, and say hi, she is the nicest lady ingame and the alliance in general is very welcoming and helpful to newcomers.
