Necromancer - Summoning Skeltons - BUG

Recommended Posts

Hello Wurm Staff,

There is currently a few bugs when summoning skeletons.

  • 1. When summoning Skeletons the  group of 3-5 skeletons fight to the death....... until there is one left over.
  • 2. the petoptions on the skeletons only applys to one Skeleton not all of them.
  • 3. when skeletons have been casted Spirit templars in the Village you are apart off dont attack the skeletons. but if run into a village in your alliance spirit templars will aggress them "CHAOS" not sure about freedom.

Reasons why i think this happens - When you tame an animal or dominate a Troll/Scorp that creature is apart of the Alliance you are with. When you cast skeletons... they are not apart of an alliance therefore tower guards and Spirit templars will attack them.

I am not 100% sure if this is happening in Freedom Isles but if anyone has any more to add to this would be great and hopefully we can get this fixed.

Adding little more info as I'm a Necromancer aswell.

1. This only happens in PvP, in PvE they spam your Combat tab like crazy, every 1second about 8messages of 'skeleton tries to hit skeleton'

2. Yeah, you can only command one to attack the enemy, all others will just stand and stare with empty look.

3. I had templar kill my skeletons even in villages that I was part of, and everytime I ran past a random deed the spirit templars reacted like it's agressive mob incoming [PvE]

4. Same as #2, you cant command more than 1 skeleton to move around with the pet options. If one skeleton decides to run away and you geared it up with wealthy gear.. hard to catch up especially near mountains.

There was an bug report about this in the past, but it got archived and didn't have as much info yet.

I'd also like to add that (personally) I do not think they should count against your cr reduction (when leading more than 1 pet) I mean come on, your using Karma to summon them but If you get 2,3,4,5 or even 6 of them your being severely punished for obtaining a valrei item and spending karma.

+1. Tbh anything which isnt your pet should count towards it.

This is an exceptionally good point

Experiencing the skeletons killing each other at spawn..

Also you can practically only control 1 of the skeletons that counts as your pet, rest only attack when they get attacked by something, there should be a better system for controlling multiple pets. So an option would be to implement a system like this or turn it into 1 stronger skeleton with alot more health this would also fix the whole -CR issue because of leading to many pets.

Also why are other karma spells being tweaked and no update on this one yet? Would be nice to actually use it sometime  .

The only one being tweaked lately was lightning because it was capable of doing game breaking things

Spawns themselves need an entire new pet slot imo, the way it is now is beyond buggy
