  1. All the colours on my bardings look completely wrong. They used to be black/red and black/blue, now they show up an ugly gray. There is no option to turn off HDR. I turned off AO to see if it was that but it's not. Users report improve FPS with AO turned off by the way. Please post your issues in this thread post-patch everyone.
  2. Lately it feels anything said lately that is nitpicking or mild in nature on Wurm official discord is being handled poorly. Such events as, forcefully hiding entire dialog's between players, cover ups, bans, and even mutes. Even recently and I've been the victim of this, aggressive posting by staff members misinterpreting players. Worst case scenario; active ingame bans because of what people jokingly meme'd about because they assumed it had more freedom of speech than ingame. People make mistakes, discord for the most part isn't a police state overall in other channels, so I'm not sure why this game in particular treats it customers in this manner. Generally Wurm discord is a police state at the moment. Most users hardly use it anymore because of fear of getting muted or banned. Anything said can be used to misquote you at any given time. A lot of us have moved onto a new discord that is censor free and less annoying. What do you think? Have you noticed this as well?
  3. Hello Guys Me and my friend decided to play Wurm recently but as always something must goes wrong. Get to the point. My friend installed Java and then download file from Wurm site and when she double click it just window pop up as fast as it close itself. She did screen shot of it and it says "Could not find or load localisation". What is suggest her to do was reinstall java and she did that same error occurred. I already ask Wurm Online Official on facebook and he advises me to try find solution here.
  4. Hello everyone. I'm Fexzz and I'm having some crazy perfomance problems that I can't seem to resolve on my own. Me and a buddy already tried a bunch of tricks and workarounds, but nothing really fixed the issue. First off, my system specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Java 8 64bit Intel Core i7 2600k (Stock Clockrate, average temperature) AMD Radeon R9 390 Strix (no overheating) 8GB DDR 1333MHz Game is installed on a 128GB SSD Crucial M4 Now, the problem is, that with the stock wurm settings, my game is only running at 30-40 FPS with terrible stuttering while looking around, which gives me a crazy headache and is way, way too low for my computer. Now, the first thing I noticed is that when the game is running, my GPU clockrate is not maxed. Instead of the GPU Core clockrate being at 1050 MHz (it's max), its hanging around ~500MHz. This was one of the first things I tried to resolve with a Tool called ClockUnblocker, that forces the GPU to it's maximum Clockrate, but it didn't help. The first improvement I got was by Disabling GLSL and VBO in the compability settings. This makes my game way smoother, but my FPS is still only at about 50-55. Another thing is that shadows completely ruin my FPS, I had to turn them off completely, otherwise it my FPS is hovering between 18-25. Anti Aliasing is also turned off, AF is only on 2. Most other settings are stock. I'm really at the end of my knowledge here, I can't explain what's causing this, maybe anyone had similar issues before and was able to resolve them, any help is appreciated.   5. Hello, Now, i know this topic has come appeared and there has been several answers to the problem. But after 2 days of googling and trying almost everything, I've yet to find something that works. Basically, The ground tiles all move when I move. The tile that my character stands on looks fine, but the others appear to move and look weird.(I don't own these images, i didn't take them either) http://i.imgur.com/Nd4r7Vd.jpg http://s21.postimg.org/yt3oipa6v/wurm_20130719_1723_3.jpg I have tried(In no particular order): Restarting the game, several times Restarting my Computer, several times Updating my graphics driver Updating my Java Reinstalling Wurm Unlimited Turning all my settings to the lowest settings Turning off FBO, GLSL, and VBO I read about pbuffer, but that doesn't show up on my options, or i can't find it. None of these have worked. Here is my setup: Windows 7 Professional Intel i7 32GB RAM Using the Integrated Graphics (Intel HD Graphics 4600) More than enough storage (1.5 TB) Thanks in Advance!
  6. So i bought wurm on steam and have playing around ALOT with it for a week or so. Then i started playing around with the deed item to fund a settlement. after that my gameworld got destroyed and ocean titles was created in the middle of my village and destroyed the map. posting a screenie....what to do?
  7. So I've spent some more time on Chaos, and I feel that the following are bugs, and/or are detremental to PvP/Raiding as a whole. A lot of people will probably shoot this down for their own agenda, but I think we all know that the following are huge issues, so please keep flaming down to a minimum: Lamps, Signs, etc take ridiculous amounts of effort to be bashed. Please allow them to be stolen, or bashed 100x faster, as with any plantable item. It's silly doing .2dmg per hit to a Lamp, when you can plant 50 per tile. Draining deeds should not be capped at 5x. I feel that people on a PvP server completely understand the risks associated with deed building, and that the only deeds that will ever get close to a 5x are those deeds planted simply to block influence. The only way to remove a deed from existence is to continuously drain it, but that's impossible when someone doesn't care about the silver cost, so gladly dumps in 3s/day to keep a deed alive. 3E isn't a lot of money. Perhaps at 5x, it could auto-disband? Unfinished fences and house walls should not block a Structure from being removed. Upon destruction of a fence, replace it with an "Incomplete" wall, thus needing to be bashed first instead of being rebuilt. Incomplete walls should not block terraforming, though. Incomplete walls on houses should not block a structure's removal. Instead, when all walls are down on a house, minus a handful of 'Unfinished' walls, allow the structure to be removed. Also, house plans, etc, should not block terraforming or fence building either. Fences and floors apart of a house plan should not hold the structure together either. Insane pits can still be created in excess of 200+ slope via tunneling. Either allow us to surface mine 200+ again, or cap tunnel entrances at max skill as well. Walls, etc, can be finished through a Mine Door. I think this is a bug. Fences can still be built in excess of 40+ slope on the edges of tunnel entrances. I think this is left over code from when Wurm was 2D, and should be addressed. Twitter is a touchy subject, but I feel it's not neccesary on PvP servers. Every Kingdom has a form of "alert" system associated with it, and I feel it completely removes any edges a raiding party would have on a normally empty local. I would even go to the lengths of suggesting that any form of "log reader" should not be allowed, but that's not really easy to police. There should be a time limit to teleport to your deed via Recall Home and Karma. The original idea behind them was to allow people to "Recall Home," or in other words, return home, not teleport to a deed being raided. I feel that if you want to get to a deed without any risks associated, you should spend the 5s for a Twig or Stone. I would personally set this limit to 24hrs upon joining a new village. BTW, this is coming from a person with over 80 Meditation and 20k Karma, so I know the effort required for both. Constructive criticism appreciated, as well as any ideas, comments, or suggestions. I'll be adding more to this over time. Maybe raiding will be fun again when we can actually raid properly.

My shortcut will no longer give me the launcher and when I try to launch from the website, nothing happens happens I log in and the initial loading screen hits 100%. I really wanna play this game, but it won't let me. What do I do!!! Also, I can't pick an avatar for some reason.
  9. After the recent restart, I can't play Wurm. It is now around 11 pm Australia time, and after about twenty relogs I am giving up. The lag ranges from one minute to a point where the game does not load and I can't move. Using Windows 8, nvidia card, java 64, and fast computer. Any help would be appreciated very much. Why hello Wurmians I am I need of your help solving this issue that I'm posting hoping to find someone who could fix it since the GM's unfortunately didn't know what's up with the thing basically the problem with my game is that caves do not render (i.e. when I enter a cave all I see is game objects inside the cave and the skybox/day-night cycle.) My other issue is that most game objects for me are not selectable and I can't highlight them like they aren't there but I can see them (for example; One of the objects that I can't interact with is a wall it doesn't appear for me to highlight so I can't right click and possibly repair any damages that the wall could have sustained, but I can clearly see the object and if I go into it acts like a barrier like how it should.) Currently the only objects I AM capable of interacting with are carts both big and small, chests, doors, living players and NPC's, Banners, and the ground. any help would be appreciated will be posting pics if its not working ill post links from photobucket.

Not sure what is causing this but for the last few days the "mark community read" and "change theme" are not listing the options up anymore causing me to have to scroll down to select the response for that menu. In the past it use to open the menu up where you could then select the option. I am not sure when this changed but i have just noticed it in the last few days and i use this all the time so must be recent. If this is posted in the wrong section feel free to move it but was not sure where to post it. Edit: guess i should list that this is on google chrome that it happens. Also anyone else seeing this too? just to make sure it is not something on my end but i don't think it would be as i have not changed anything.
