I seem to have a problem where cows and bulls require taming to be led now. This seems to be a change in the last day or so. I just led a bunch of bulls without taming the other day. I also wasn't able to get the milk option for the cows when using a pottery bowl. Calves however still can be led without being tamed.

Are Bison any faster than Bulls pulling lg. cart, or the same? Do Bison have to be tamed before they can be hitched to lg. cart? Thank you.

We all take advantage (rightfully so) of the unique name identification of bred horses in this game but what about cows/bulls and bisons? I do not ask for individual names, all I ask is for SOME sort of unique identification (like a eartag that you can craft out of wood or metal where you can write something on it and attach it with say, a branding iron or some other tool (maybe a new tool as well?)) to uniquely identify them and show what is written on the tag when you examine them: This bull/cow/calf/bison was tagged and belongs to the settlement of <settlement name>. The tag reads: "message" Why? Well say you want to breed some good traited bisons: you mate an aged fat bison with an adolescent fat bison and you get a young bison as a result. As long as you have just one pair all is good as you can sepatate the pair from the offsprings. But in order for the offspring to be able to breed you need a second pair. How will you know which offspring came from which pair? Theres no way (unless you make countless pens) to prevent inbreeding once you get more livestock. Same goes for cows (although less important but why not show some love to the bowine driven cart?) and even first gen horses! It might not be very simple to implement, or it is - but it is really sad not to be able to do something as simple as tell which animal is which. My implementation suggestion (the tag) can be replaced with other ideas, but the scope remains the same. Hope you consider this, Best, Thor- 48 replies

Or do you just want two reliable animals to pull around your mining cart? Ravenstone Stables has all of those. I have 5-speed horses, bison, and cows/bulls in stock. Slower and cheaper horses are also available if that's what you're looking for. See all the details of each horse right here on this spreadsheet. Information about individual bison and cattle are available upon request. Horse prices 5-speeds: 40c 4-speeds: 30c 3-speeds: 20c 2-speeds or less, or horses with bad traits: 10c Bison/cattle prices Bison: 20c Cows/bulls: 10c Delivery is only 10c per trip (up to 3 animals per trip) for anywhere on the Independence server. If you're in the north-east corner of Independence, I probably won't charge for delivery at all. Pickup is also available at Ravenstone (48x, 13y) on Colossus Lake. All prices are negotiable, especially for bulk orders. If you're looking for new breeding stock, I would consider trading animals as well. Want better horses but don't have the AH skill to breed them? Buy at least one female 5-speed and I will breed it with one of my compatible 5-speed male on request, with no extra charge. Bring riding unicorns back. Stop friendly and neutral guards attack domestic hell horses. Copy and alter code so that we can sit on cows and such properly. ... and yeah, other thread, I said there are other ways than size to show that these are champions. Would like to ride other things, such as bison. Also, I want a war cow, barding, shoes, saddle!

Judarian Acres is now open! We are located off of the Stigg-Amish highway at at J-43 on Darkmalice's map (http://noizeviolatio...wurm/CelebH.png) and G-6 on Quiglen's map (http://imgon.net/di-5IF3.png). We have self-service pens currently stocked with bulls, cows, deer, bison, and 2-4 speed horses. Soon I will have dogs available as well. Taming is allowed on deed to facilitate access to deer, but you are taming at your own risk! I would recommend reading the taming article in the wiki before attempting this if you are new. As well as keys for the animals pens, the merchant is also stocked with ropes for 2c each and 40ql oaken grooming brushes for 15c each. Hi guys, I've setup a new deed in the desert NE Celebration at BA 55 (Rainbow Retreat). I have a couple of horses already but I'd also like a breeding pair of cattle. I've looked around the local deeds but not sure if anyone has cattle there. Not too bothered about traits as they are mainly for AH grinding, milking and leather :-) There is a tunnel next to Scorpion Ridge that goes through to Thera so that provides road access but that is as far as I have explored. I am starting a small farm and i have a small bit of money to start out with, i'm looking for any animals to start breeding with, i would prefer animals without bad traits, but if its super cheap let me know about it.
