  1. Want to sell my stock of maple sap/syrup. It comes in sealed small amphoras each amphora containg 112 liters. Price is 40c per amphora. Current amount is 17 amphoras of maple syrup 11 amphoras of maple sap Pm me here or ingame on same name Cheers
  2. Please reduce the strength of the random factor in the converting of maple sap to maple syrup. There appears to be a lower limit of q20 which many players hit when they cook higher q sap and get q20 syrup. In my opinion, if a lower limit cap is needed then the randomness must be excessive. Natural variations are good in the game. These seem unnatural. With Q of the raw product, HFC and Cooking skills, quality of the container additional randomness should be limited to a small percentage variation.
  3. Birch sap is collected only at the break of winter and spring when the sap moves intensively. When fresh, it is a clear and uncoloured liquid, very similar to water, often slightly sweet with a slightly silky texture. After two to three days, the sap starts fermenting and the taste becomes more acidic. Birch sap may be consumed both fresh and naturally fermented. Birch sap collection is done by drilling a hole into its trunk and leading the sap into a container via some conduit: a tube or simply a thin twig: the sap will flow along it because of the surface tension. Birch sap has to be collected in early spring before any green leaves have appeared, as in late spring it becomes bitter. The collection period is only about a month per year.Tapping a tree does not harm the health of the tree. Concentrated birch sap is used to make birch syrup, a very expensive type of syrup mainly made from paper birch in Alaska and Canada, and from several species in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Various types of birch beer made from birch sap are available as well, distinguished by color. The color depends on the species of birch tree from which the sap is extracted (though enhancements via artificial coloring are common presently). Popular colors include brown, red, blue and clear (often called white birch beer), though others are possible. Tasty !!!
  4. Hello I have 2 large barrels of maple syrup to sell. A total of 500kg. I can deliver on Independence and maybe on other servers depending time. I really don't know what it is worth so make an offer. Please let me know if you are interested and what you are willing to pay incl. delivery. Cheers | Skyrant
  5. I am wanting to sell 6 Barrels of Maple Syrup (technically 5 barrels and a cauldron full). Excellent for making wine, these barrels will last until grapes are in season. You can easily triple the money you paid. The average quality is 20 (It's difficult to maintain a good quality while harvesting a lot, sorry) but there is no damage currently. Of course the barrels themselves are free and you can keep them. I am also willing to deliver from Exodus (Arcanum) but at a somewhat extra fee according to the distance. The standard cost for syrup when it's out of season is 75c a barrel, but I am willing to haggle. I will also accept gems as payment. If you're interested, please PM me here on the forums.
