Hey! I'm coming up with a skillgain estimation equation for meditating! I will need help gathering data though, so if you'd like to help, please post in this thread! If you have over 20 meditating skill, please send me: - logs of all 5 of your first 5 daily meditation chances (i.e. whether or not they were successful and your skillgain amounts). Please note: I will need all 5 of the logs, not just the successful ones. - the amount of CoC on your meditation rug - your current skill level (rounded to the nearest hundredth, i.e. 40.06) - the QL and type of your rug, with QL rounded to the nearest hundredth (e.g., normal, 12.27) - whether or not you were using sleep bonus - # of affinities you have for meditation - Epic or Freedom Yes, I realize skillgain is based on a RNG but RNGs are predictable to a degree. Thanks in advance for any help.

for the last week and a half to two weeks ive been getting one skill gain a day on average. whereas before i was getting 4 to 5 skill gains a day. i meditate daily around 9 times a day and nothing else has changed. same low quality rug. basically the gains have practically come to a stop. this is in Exodus server.

I was pretty sure I had noticed this before, but finally was able to catch it: Logging started 2014-10-26 [21:16:57] Meditating increased by 0.109 to 47.194 [03:55:16] Meditating increased by 0.109 to 47.303 A reconnect happened at about 10:20am on 2014-10-27 Logging started 2014-10-27 [10:30:32] Meditating increased by 0.107 to 47.301 I hadn't died at all in between my last 2 meditation actions. Again, I have noticed this before with meditation skill gain and would like to see it corrected. We all know meditation is not an easy skill to raise, and this bug isn't helping.- 22 replies

Just wondering how being a champion works with some of the meditation paths: Champions gets 60% damage reduction. Can they follow path of insanity and stack shield of gone? Also, do Fo priest heals increase with healing hands under the path of love? Thanks -

We have grass that is hard to pack and no trees will grow into them. We have trees that can't be cut down. I would like to keep trees out of our flowers for our tiles. Enchanted flowers would do the trick. They don't need anything special other than trees don't grow into them. Maybe for a graphic you can put a mix of all the flowers into it and make them taller. EDIT: Well, of course, no-pack, no-pick, and unicorn eaten proof like enchanted grass LOL

As it is, if you want to switch meditation paths you have to leave the path you are on and start from lvl 1 on the new path you want to join. With Enlightenment broken, this really sucks. My proposition is to add an ability when either 1)meditating on the new path special tile or 2)Right click option on meditation rugs "switch path" Both options would then in theory bring up a window similar to when you get a path question before advance giving you the option to switch to which ever path you want. I personally think the first option is more lore friendly, and it would only let you switch to the respective path tile you are on. Would allow people to save months of waiting on Cooldowns to just switch paths when they already have skill for the level they want. The only way to balance this proposition that i see is to add a cooldown to the feature. The cooldown after using the "switch path" feature would be 1 year RL time. This is almost equal to what it takes to reach your previous level if your one of those SOTG or Enlightenment nuts that likes meditation rugs. (the upper levels of meditation have nearly 1 month cooldowns inbetween each level). This would be especially useful for older players on the upper levels of meditation, mostly if your RL schedule changes and you think a different path would suit your play time capability, etc. Thank you for your time, do not hesitate to add onto it or debate this feature below.
