  2. ok smeagain Lets be real, any and all pets have an abysmal hit chance and every weapon except for polearms do ass for damage when equipped on any mob, including avatars and uniques, and they still do ass for damage if they arent attacking a mount or a mounted player. useful? very situational, better than a 5spd hellhorse? 9/10 times no. the speed will be more beneficial every single time unless you have no need to move anywhere. this does not change the fact that a lib lock is a creation of pure ###### stupidity and myc directly harming cffp is seems like an oversight as it forces you to go out of your way to remove your "gods chosen land" to get timed affinities and more stamina/stamina use reduction. if you want an overpowered god, look at smeagain, prime example of something that should be nerfed into the ground, not poor little libila. it has two passives, dmg bonus and a res stone (pretty sure it has CR too) which is much more than lib it has two pillars, fungus trap (the best pillar in the game damage wise) and ice pillar it has weakness and smite, the two best spells for unique hunting it has light of fo and heal, making it the best choice for land and boat battles and as an added cherry on top, it has cure medium which is quite useful for horse healing in pvp. it also has oakshell and refresh, the two most useful utility spells in the game. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, but i dont see you complaining about this, or does the ability to hit a 5 damage wound on someone every minute via a zombie pet overpower this? wtb playergod removal, vanilla god rework.

  5. What do you mean in the way im implying? I've only ever had ONE DEED in 10 years be successfully raided while i was defended it, and it was because the deed was very poorly built, very poorly designed, had no materials on the deed itself, and a lot of doors weren't even locked.
  6. No, i actually said raiding =/= pvp, but I would like it to create pvp. If you want it to do that you need reduce the stacked odds in favor of defenders, and encourage actual defense instead of logging off in a safemine. My goal is also to make it less required to destroy entire swathes of the deed to progress, as its unhealthy for the game, but to bring back the old style of raiding where you just pop in and pop out.
  7. Would not address merchants or safemines in any way, usually where the loot is if its not on an alt, which still makes raiding pointless. The mechanically easier raiding is, the less damage they need to do to accomplish their goals. The reason deeds are so destroyed now is because it is -REQUIRED- to make ANY PROGRESS IN ANY FORM in the raid.
  8. We'll, ill sit here and wait for someone to ask you to raid only for you to tell them it takes too long or is too boring, like most people who are never in favor of raiding mechanics changes.
  9. That was one of the things i asked for, literally Retrograde asked me what would i change, and i threw out a bunch of suggestions and then said to not add all of them to the game because it would be too easy, but to find a few that are well liked and well tested to implement. It's on page one.
  10. It's currently near impossible to raid a deed with anything in it, and in order to raid a deed with anything in it you are encouraged to do as much damage as possible because you need to do things like remove a 2x18 longhouse to make any progress. It's just the way the game is, and it shouldn't be. I know you, or anyone in JK wouldn't be able to drain our deed within six or seven hours with nobody online. I'm not sure what to tell you. Theres nothing worth spending 16 hours to raid anymore, there will be no loot, and the drain isn't worth it. Plus 16 hours is just absurd.
  11. Twitter would tweet whenever someone popped the deed, you then use a twitter account that retweets everything from the accounts he follows, and you have it post it in an irc channel. basically how it works.
  12. oh ye i forgot the obvious remove twitter would severely limit expansion past what you can actively maintain, would change it away from "build it and forget until your #raidalarm irc tab starts flashing"
  13. I can understand where youre coming with most of this, and i guess its a matter of opinion and approach to the game and what each player is willing to lose, so ill comment on the ones that are strictly mechanic related: As for the first, it is, but you can make deeds pretty much near impossible to accurately catapult anything with some effort. Wait until the new meta designs come out where dirtwalls are 600 slope on one tile instead of two tiles of 300! (Hint, it will be featured in the next capitol we make, if we make another capitol, along with our mine and interior systems.) For the safemines, sorry its the way the game is shifting. We hit a deed on Epic with around 18 safemines and we gave up after two days. We then saw other deeds with similar setups. So we built two like it on chaos, and we know DD has one similar. If the game isn't dead within a year, most deeds will likely have a safemine for every house if theyre planned by anyone experienced because its not difficult to do in the slightest.
  14. ok do you want your 10 man group to be able to raid a deed with goodies inside or not, the current being no, not anything worthwhile unless the defenders do not log in for days. i don't know how to make it any clearer than this
  15. Premium only, raising lo time under siege/enemy in local, or nonprem drops items on logout with enemies in local are the only three that come to mind. Each are as bad and as inconveniencing as the other.
  16. Oh yay, a person too eager to belittle me to actually refute any argument in the thread, but also a person who enjoys doing the same thing he is bitching about. Clearly a Madnezz protege. Does it bother you i'm asking for the same things ive been asking for for years, but they are the same things your kingdom was asking for when they were winning and trying to prevent when they were losing so the developers would cater for them? Or is it too difficult to read your own post history? You tell me.
  17. ok if with 10 raiders right now, you cannot raid a deed worth raiding, but if you make raiding easier, you could. you are giving them access to a part of the game they could not have access to before because defending is so stacked. i mean no matter what the group with larger numbers can do it faster, but, they can do it faster now. I can't think of a way to fix that, but i can think of ways to open up the game for the little guy, at least in scenarios i could imagine myself in, i mean i spent a lot of time as the little guy so i'd like to think i have some idea of what people in this position would like if they had the same approach to the game as myself.
  18. If you could read, you would see that it only has two of the features we listed as suggestions anyway, but its much worse due to the wonderous combination of a shitty map and unfinished features. I will admit a lot of these things have probably been changed, but, you cant always constantly buy accounts every time something gets fixed for someone else after you sat there begging for something to be addressed for two+ years. 1000% and you could probably clear them all in a day with a medium sized raid force, but no i would never suggest that. I'm trying to brainstorm options, and clearly you admit its a problem, so maybe we should put our heads together and think of a way to change this for the better, no? Used to not be that way, we used to be the people who raided constantly, we used to be known for it. Ask Awardis, we raided every single one of their capitols except the most recent one. Ask anyone who was terrorized by us on JKH, most of which we did with a CR nerf. It sure takes patience, i'll agree on that. But, it went from taking six hours, to taking eight hours, to taking ten hours, to taking fifteen hours, to taking a day, to taking three days over the course of two years. That sure is a lot of patience, and a lot of time allowing people to get loot away to safety. I'll also tell you right now that no kingdom in the game has the patience to raid any deed worth raiding (not some shithole s5 wardeed), and i don't see anyone proving me wrong anytime soon. As for no patience, you should remember all the deeds we turbonerded for JK, while most of JK couldn't be bothered to donate a single brick or participate outside of dying to Ebonaura. As for our most recent return to JK i will admit we were more reliant on other peoples resources as we were more focused on offense, you're more than welcome to talk to AdamZ about my 32 hour building sessions while most of the kingdom sat on their asses though. I will say MR got it right for the new meta though, with the way deeds are built now, the only way to make progress is heavy destruction as its the only way to get through heavy fortifications. Which is actually unhealthy for the game that to make progress on any deed worth raiding youd need a 50+ man raid force split into three shifts for 72 hours destroying everything. It's not really feasible to just plop a hole in anymore, in most cases now you have to tear down an entire 2x18 multistory longhouse and the dirtwall. Nobody wants to repair that much stuff, hell, nobody wants to tear down that much stuff. Well, right now its impossible to raid a deed with 10 people in a reasonable time frame if its well built (and i shouldn't have to clarify this as much as i am, but, i feel like the second i don't someone is gonna say WELL I RAIDED THIS ONE DEED WITH NO DIRTWALLS ONE TIME IN THIRTY MINUTES), so, i'd say giving them an opportunity benefits smaller kingdoms. Especially considering one defender makes raids so much more time consuming, its a ###### cakewalk to defend solo against 10+ people as the game stands currently.
  19. If you were able to clean my deeds in a reasonable time, we could work out a several gold payment and you get to keep the loot. I have -ALWAYS- been in favor of making raiding easier, and i have -ALWAYS- been vocal about it when the servers aren't as active. I think more and I write more when there's nothing to do, sorry to say. His point holds no water regardless, that suggestion literally has nothing to do with myself or anyone i play with, none of us commented or voted on it, and pretty much all of us have been in support of these changes for as long as i can remember. As i can predict a few certain people coming to try and trigger me soon, i'll go ahead and say this. What bothers me the most is that the people least interested in raiding seem to be the ones who don't care its that difficult, but they are also the people who claim its too difficult and time consuming to be worth doing. On another note, why is changing raiding gearing success for those at the top? I remember on Epic we would go from nobodies all year, and start off or end the summer with a big raid that would make or break the rest of the year for us. We were much smaller than the other kingdoms, and for a long time had much weaker accounts, and had nearly no moonmetal. This is how we overcame those obstacles, a well planned, well-time, and just a well thought out raid. Changed the course of the server multiple times. With how difficult it is now, if anything, it is impossible for people not on top to make any progress, if you're against that, then, well, i'm not quite sure what to tell you unless you just never see yourself raiding anything mildly important thats decently built.
  20. It shouldn't be difficult to find me making and supporting a taunting merchant thread the last two times i was on chaos, both times on the losing side. I'm not sure if i even posted in that thread. Edit: After reading, i actually did not post in that thread, nor vote in it, which means as far as i can remember i have always 100% been in favor of allowing merchants to be taunted on both servers, so..... not sure what the point is here. (Nor did anyone im playing with currently) So not sure what you mean by "weak", and if you want to pull that card, as inaccurate as it is, it's not difficult to find dozens of ideas downvoted by MR when they were losing, but supported when they were winning. I guess this makes you weak too. Looking at the date too, i wasn't even a part of the "side" you are claiming me to be a part of at the time. That was after i got kicked out because i got blamed for Cndo's mistake with selling Crimsonwolf to Red. There are multiple people who can vouch for that too. But i'll applaud you for making up some random ###### to try and de-legitimize my post, i guess?
  21. Yup, but times change. At the time of that post, taunting merchants was still a fledging idea, it hadn't even been really tested on Epic hardly at all, if at all by that time, and nobody uses merchants for selling anything on Chaos anymore. I'm pretty sure most people didn't even have taunting skill until two bouts of taunting exploits went around before I started to see it during raids, after it was proven effective, people started doing it more and training it using the enemy kingdom alt and a circle of friends method.
  22. Could happen, worked fine on Epic for the most part though. Youd be surprised at the reaches people go for convenience, if anyone is determined enough they could just ferry it off chaos entirely yes. Theres not much you can do to prevent that, we had invested many hours in brainstorming this on Epic where some people would just put stuff on merchants on JKH where it was mechanically impossible for us to obtain. I also wanted to say, the general idea is to make it take long enough to reward the people involved in the planning and construction of deeds, but easy enough so it is enticing for people to raid while at the same time encouraging people to actually defend the place. I'm not sure how to better describe it, but i think you get my intention. I'd also like to make it clear that it is probably not a good idea to implement everything i listed (i don't think itll happen, but yeah), if you did that it would probably be too easy. I was just listing options, stuff should be sifted through and picked accordingly after testing.
  23. remove the ability to shaker orb/strongwall tiles on your deed while it is under siege (could be controversial, but would actually give players a reason to bash minedoors without fear of it being instantly shut + reinforced), alternatively require minedoors to be constructed with a door lock and give it the ability to be lockpicked (also could be controversial), slightly increase damage dealt by a catapult or a trebuchet allowing people to prepare less ammo (yes, i am aware 90 skill is pretty good, i'm also aware 100 is pretty good, but, this could still be changed.), cap the number of guards on chaos similar to the way guards are capped on epic, remove the cr buff defenders get proportional to the number of enemies on deed (large raids are already terrible as is, especially in conjunction with 50 templars, basically results in everyone permanently crashing. compounded by giving the defenders a buff when your raid force steps on deed.)
  24. Double or triple disintegration chance, change the damage curve on metal doors, make catapulting more predictable and make the messages clearer to read (similar to the old system where if you hit a tile, you actually damage the walls on the tile reliably, not now where a 10 tile winch on perfectly flat ground with 0 degree turn is 10 tiles, but, a 3 degree turn is 11 tiles), allow taunting as its still difficult even on epic with 50+ taunting, make mailing with enemies in local not possible if not already implemented, non prem accounts drop gear on logout i can think of some more
