  1. Might not be able to track links, but it’s possible to track who was getting skill from opulence past 40/50/60 channeling.
  2. Courier makes puppeteering very hard. Well becomes a wishing well, no known benefit.
  3. With enough skill, imping buildings and fences (bridges are a type of building) do not require higher ql materials. It's very possible to imp 50ql fences with 30ql bricks. If you intend to make a 90ql bridge, you'll need to grind pottery.
  4. While the favor regen of linking is beneficial. The main advantage of stacking many links is difficulty. When you turn a 5 favor 10 difficulty spell into a 25 difficulty spell, now you can easily grind 60. Turn it into a 40 difficulty spell and you can grind 90+.
  5. NFI timeline

    You have gotten coins from the coffers on the new cluster? Harmony sold over 500 deeds in 1 day, there should be plenty of money in the pool to fill the coffers. CA have said it resets monthly, but so far nobody has been able to use it.

  7. While I'd love missions to be turned on, as I said in my other thread, I want to know WHEN or IF they will be turned on even more. Us clamoring for forage coins and mission karma has fell on deaf ears lately. We don't even know what plans they have.
  8. I main a Fo priest on both northern and southern. My crafter is co-main, but closer to alt really. This is my biggest grief of being a priest, the endless churn of time and materials for favor. I like the priest benefits, and tolerate the restrictions. I like being able to heal, cure critters. I dislike the imbalance in the distribution of enchants. I dislike that more low level spells aren't shared (light token, mend). More everyone spells, than specific deity specific ideals. I dislike grinding skills and churning material just to dump it into an altar. I like creation, not destruction.
  9. If they don't punish the abusers, revert the system to the way it was and let others use it too. It's not just about punishing the abusers, but providing a level playing field and right now they own the field.
  10. This does effect everyone. The few that used the exploits, are eliciting huge profit margins on spells. They are also decreasing prices and demand for lesser enchants. This has major effects on the economy as a whole and only those that used the exploit are benefiting. I think it's probably too late now to actually fix it though.

    Can devs please give us a timeline for NFI servers? Moometals Rifts Kings coffers (will this be implemented at all?) Imbues Missions for Karma and Sleep Bonus It's been a month, and not 1 word on if or when anything will be turned on. I don't care if it's 6 months, a year, never, just tell us. (I do care, but not knowing is worse)

  16. It won't help you swim. It won't stop you from drowning. It only lets you climb up the shore. If the shore is too steep or you weigh too much, it's very possible not to be able to escape the water before drowning.
  17. I have never had Last Gasp fail. Last gasp doesn't turn on or off climbing, it's a buff of it's own. Simple solution, why aren't you using a boat to dredge? The dirt to hold is so much easier than having to empty it every dig.
  18. Gems will not let you hit 100, you end up at 99.xx and can't use the gem again. and regen from 99.11 takes many ticks. I both like and dislike this idea. As someone that casts LT (100 favor) frequently, not having to worry about failure regen or over saccing favor is a good idea. But saccing enough to get from 10 to 90 to minimize downtime sounds like way over saccing. When I heard the news that devs would look into saccing and favor regen, I was hesitantly optimistic. I had expected a system to augment the current system, an alternative to throwing stacks of items away. This is completely disappointing.
  19. Be aware WU is at end of life. It will not receive any more content patches. There are many mod makers keeping it up to date, but nothing official. If you don't enjoy interacting with others (from your comments in Freedom the other day), then WU might just be for you. You'll never see another person in your own private server. But if your desires or needs change, you'll have to start over (or continue) in WO again.
  20. What server do you play on? Was the horse tamed at any time? Pregnancy getting stuck isn't new on over populated (animal wise) servers. Players believe it's intentional, I haven't heard anything official about that.
  21. Lately a lot of conflicting info on Reinforcing mines. Do walls help? Do floors help? I know buildings guarantee it. Do walls and floors guarantee it? There was a patch that made a mess of things a while ago, would like to get a reliable answer.
  22. Most suggestions are "shot down" because of the lack of a graphics department. I'm not sure the last time I actually saw a suggestion shot down unless it was a suggestion to revert to a system that used to exist (like fishing). They just don't comment and it dies a lingering death. While the fishing change may feel like an exploit patch, a lot of effort went into the new system to make it more realistic, more in line with other Wurm activities. If you want the old system, just get yourself a bunch of nets.
  23. People must remember this isn't a 100 person corporate development staff, It's a few people doing the best they can. The recent exploit fixes might have been known by players for a long time, but we're a big issue when so many people were very highly skilled and new players were few. Now you have 400 people on a pvp server, and they don't want others willing to use exploits to get significant advantages. The resulting changes pve side are a by product, but also are exploited there.
