  11. Routing issue

Here's what i did to test 1. created virtual interfaces :0 and :1 with addresses 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.3 2. add static route with command ip route add 10.0.0.3 dev wlp5s1:0 src 192.168.1.19 3. run ping and capture icmp traffic with tcpdump (tcpdump -nnv -i any) [root@localhost ~]# tcpdump -nnv icmp -i any tcpdump: listening on any, link-type LINUX_SLL (Linux cooked), capture size 262144 bytes 21:34:16.927258 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 40609, offset 0, flags [DF], proto ICMP (1), length 84) 10.0.0.2 > 10.0.0.3: ICMP echo request, id 3565, seq 1, length 64 21:34:16.927284 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 47033, offset 0, flags [none], proto ICMP (1), length 84) 10.0.0.3 > 10.0.0.2: ICMP echo reply, id 3565, seq 1, length 64 21:34:17.926974 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 40612, offset 0, flags [DF], proto ICMP (1), length 84) Hope this helps you. As i understand your servers communicate over 192.168.45 which is virtual interface on eth0 device. Check with tcpdump first what is happening on network.
