  1. We already have pottery bricks, how about some pottery brick walls? I'd love to see red brick walls in addition to the existing grey brick walls. Shouldn't necessarily be that hard to do, just take the existing brick walls and change it from '20 stone bricks, 20 mortar' to '20 pottery bricks, 20 mortar'. Art texture should also be similarly easy to do, with just an overall shrinking and recoloring of the existing bricks in the brick wall. Would be great to see red brick options for all the walls in game. House & fence. *edit* And, actually. Looking at the model for the stone brick floor, that texture could be easily used for this with a simple recolor. It looks perfect!
  2. I cannot get Max Toolbelt to work. I installed it the same way I installed every other mod and they all work fine. Any ideas? *edit* Nevermind. Re-extracted it and didn't run the patcher.bat and it worked. guess max toolbelt doesn't like the patcher.
  3. You ever try to remove grass in a 4m x 4m area with a rake? Very hard. Shovel makes more sense since you're essentially digging up the grass and tilling the tile.
  4. It seems to have fixed itself. I think the issue was a lack of HOTS influence in areas where Libila was present. I thought that Myc spread under Libila's religious influence only but I guess it requires both, since it seems to be spreading outward from guard towers rather than altars.
  5. It's disappearing in a checkerboard pattern, yes. How do I fix that? The "allow pvp" box is checked.
  6. Ok so, after some testing and time, it appears that spawned mycelium slowly dies off even if it's within the influence of HOTS/Libila. Anyone have any idea? It's a PvP server with Epic settings turned on.
  7. What exactly is that system? The altars give influence, I have the faith bonus when near it and it tells me when I do and don't feel Libila. Or is it some hidden thing?
  8. So, basically, I'm on a new server/map being hosted by a friend and half of us are Blacklight and the other half are Whitelight. The blacklight group (me and some others) founded a city near the Bone Altar, somewhere between 300-400 tiles away. We build a HOTS guard tower and an altar and have both kingdom and religious influence, but no Mycelium will grow. After checking the Bone Altar, there's also no mycelium growing around it at all. The server has been up maybe a week, give or take a few days. Does a GM have to kick-start mycelium growth by spawning some before it'll spread? Or do we have to chain towers/altars from the black light to our town to get it to start spreading? I've never had to start on a new map I only ever played on the Wurm Online maps which already had mycelium. Any help is appreciated. If the GM has to kick-start it by spawning some, how would he do it? Otherwise, how do we get it to grow? I don't remember it ever taking this long on Wurm Online.
  9. Reading the GM stories, it makes me wonder if Enki remembers turning me and a few of my friends on the starter server (golden isles, was it?) into Blacklighters and letting us spread mycelium and convert random people until I guess he got in trouble and had to change us all back. That was hilariously fun.
  10. lol this is actually how it used to be a long time ago. Deeds had 3 different types of guards. Light, Medium, and Heavy.
  11. I think capturing towers should stay in, but be modified that you can only capture towers on the 'edge' of kingdom influence. I think perhaps they should consider making it so you can only capture towers in areas that are contested (i.e. kingdom influence of two or more kingdoms meet in that area) That way you'd keep the 'old ways' of chaining towers to an area to take it over, but also maintain the fluidity that capturing towers offers for kingdom borders and influence.
  12. I don't understand the point of fatigue. Rolf said it was supposed to level the playing field between people with too much time on their hands and people with not enough time on their hands, but isn't that what sleep bonus is for? Steve doesn't have a job, so he plays the game a lot, thus he gets very little sleep bonus but he has more time to work on his skills. Doug works part time at a grocery store, so he plays the game less than Steve. He gets more sleep bonus from his inactivity and can catch up to Steve's progress by using it. Jon works 60+ hour weeks and barely gets to play Wurm, but he earns an hour and a half of sleep bonus or more between his wurm sessions, so with the time he has he can easily catch up to Steve and Doug. Why do we need fatigue +1 to removing it
