  1. You may want to specify location and whether you're prepared to deliver - sadly, these can't be mailed.
  2. For reference, the start time is 20:00 UK time. I'll be there, and so will Ehizellbob (both fighters). I will probably have a couple of alts along, but they'll just grab blood from the boat.
  3. I, too, would prefer a non-Steam version to a Steam one; perhaps there'll be one in the pipeline sometime after launch. I totally get why Steam is the first launch platform, given its reach, and since I won't be jumping over on day (planning to wait and see how things pan out for a bit), with a bit of luck, there'll be an alternate platform available n time.
  4. How will premium, in-game currency etc. work for private servers? Will server owners be able to set, for example, a free premium policy (everyone on the server gets premium automatically without paying)? What about deed upkeep, where will that go? Presumably private server GMs will be able to spawn silver coins, so there is a manual option there. How will private server hosting work? Will you need to rent a private server from CodeClub / some other authorised provider, or will people be able to run the software on their own hardware? What will be the (likely, approximate) costs involved?
  5. The price doesn't seem to have changed much as yet - scraps of scale have gone up a bit, as everyone wants to make the new colours, but the long-term effects haven't settled in yet.
  6. Goodness, yes please!!! +1000 If possible, it would be nice to get the 'xxx accepted y' messages when you next log in, if you were logged out when it happened.
  7. You may want to specify server, as animals can't cross server boundaries.
  8. Moved to Suggestions & Ideas.
  9. since they don't do anything until they're blessed, how about just making plain metal altars push/pullable. The domain thing can't be that much of an issue, since stone altars can be pushed.
  10. Moved to classified ads from Celebration forum.
  11. As I'm not part of the wiki team, I'm not going to put words in their mouths; this is my opinion only. The changes to the wiki of late have been towards well-structured, verified relevant information. Having a load of pages about specific players, except in really exceptional circumstances, doesn't seem to add anything - the info would only be relevant to a very small number of players anyway, and it would add a lot of work for the wiki folks to keep it all up to date. If folks really want public pages with info about themselves, then that's probably not something that belongs on the Wurmpedia, given that the info is not directly related to game mechanics, play or rules. Hence my opinion that player pages should all be removed from the Wurmpedia; I suspect most of them are pretty out of date, anyway.
  12. Is there really any reason to keep player pages on the wiki? Seems like that doesn't really fit with what the team is trying to achieve.
