Truestrike is not a common thing and is very rare. It also can be anywhere from a 10 sec cast to a 5 min cast, that is not guarantee hit but a guaranteed crit. So if you cast truestrike but the person keep blocking / parrying or a glance there goes your true strike and you are on a cool down again. The damage reduction tweaks correlated to body strength was a great start but the problem still lies that 30% extra damage reduction is a lot. The whole issue here is Shield of the Gone (I own 4 shield of the gone accounts at the moment across epic and freedom), it simply no matter what makes you way to strong. People without it fear going into pvp because of that disadvantage. Where the disadvantage between having 40 to 60 body strength isnt so significant as a free 30% damage reduction.

40 body strenght non sotg account : Huge axe hit = 22.7 damage Thats 4 hits to kill. Medium maul hit = 21.89 damage Still 4 hits to kill Things to note is the crush versus the plate. I used plate because its is the more common armor set available not everyone can afford a drake or scale set.

It is still possible to be done by one person. Not 1-3 hits (unless using true strike), but 5 hitting a 50 body strenght non SoTG player is very easy. I can hit with a med maul for 15-20 damage on a non SoTG player thats 50 body strenght. Hit Greyhound a 65 body strength non sotg account in aggressive with a med maul for 15 damage Same test this time with a Adamintine Huge Axe Did 21 damage this time. That means 6-7 hits with a medium maul, to kill a 65 body strenght player in 90ql plate set, 5 hits with a Addy huge axe. 30% is still a huge difference.
