Some early books, aside from scrolls and scroll cases, were basically just boxes containing loose leaf pages. Then various binding techniques with glue and string. Metal rods and rings. Personally Id recommend a new skill for this, Scribe or Calligraphy. And the uses can be more than just aesthetics: Temp skill gain bonuses from some kind of Master/apprentice teaching/learning system, especially at low skill levels. Some kind of knowledge system akin to Black Desert's for gaining bonuses in killing various critters and their general anatomies (Murder X For Dummies). Healing bonuses as well far as the anatomy thing goes. Porn (heh I know humans too well). And just scribbling down w/e notes when it can be accessed ingame more easily than one's notes in RL.

Heh haven't played PS2 in ages; though, its a fun mmo shooter. Aye the conquering and connected zone system works well there; though, didn't they limit needing to be connected to certain key areas and not just a neighbor? Kind of already have some of this with the tower and battle camps, perhaps certain resources and the like can gain bonuses within kingdom influence. Also speaking of Epic, Id recommend keeping the Home servers and changing up the "Wild" servers more. The original reveal Rolf mentioned had far more extreme terraforming which could be kept off the Home servers for those that dislike them. Basically making the Wild servers more extreme with plenty of fire and lava. At any moment the ground can literally be swept away from under you (except on a Home). Doom!

Agreed overall; though, I personally disagree with the mindset one -has- to grow their own farm, animals, manage upkeep, and etc. Such things is shouldering a burden that one really doesn't have to do solo, unless that's one's thing. Sure its somewhat of a necessity when resources and labor are scarce; however, even Epic probably has plenty of salvageable stuff sitting around. The time such rarity really exists is when a new map is rolled out and isolated (fun times). Anyways, I digress, as Mrgary mentions its the connections developed that help to retain, and - as Ive mentioned before - features that help to foster and strengthen these connections will prove beneficial. Still theres plenty of space for new content, and whatever to serve as the initial draw or hook.

Theres several ways to grow mushrooms which vary a bit depending on the variety. Some work well in soil beds and decaying plant matter in dark moist rooms. Some work well inserted into holes drilled into logs setup outdoors. And so on and so forth. Heck many parasitical mushrooms species can be picky about the species of tree they grow on.

Planeswalker is a title gained from using a certain combination of tomes: Though MrGary has a more complete version. Assuming tomes are still dropping on Chaos you can gain this title on Chaos/Freedom, otherwise you have to go to the source on Epic. Either way its a long path fraught with work and a bit of pay-2-win.

That's true for the game in its extent, even for so-called hermits. Though when one wants to pick a fight, bring friends. Friends with rifles and shotguns. Maybe some armor and artillery. Definitely air support. Oh and a dog.

Would be awesome; though, unsure the reward would justify the potential work unless already in the works? Edit similar to sitting code?

Maybe keep timer on PvP servers. Though that's only for very specific situations, which might have been resolved by now.

Know what existed before sleeping bags? Bedrolls, which were different type of blankets layered and folded together similar to a sleeping bag. Some insulated while other layers would help to keep you dry. Some older camping manuals describe them. Don't recall if scout manuals still do. Course in tents one could also have cots or collapsible beds. Heck for that matter having a new kind of housing with waxed cloth-framed, collapsible walls. We still have "hammocks"

Wish we had better support for turrets like that. Atm one needs to have a lower floor then destroy, but still doesn't quite come off the corner.
