Just built a short section of fence out of the nifty new sandstone. Looks good, like the fact that it is taller than the old stone shard fences; can't see over it...privacy just got an upgrade option. However... I discovered that if you stand close enough, you can see right through it, about as clearly as peering through a rail fence. Weeel doggies...this kinda' cancels out the whole point of building the taller sandstone fence. This novel effect does not happen with the "tall stone walls" or the "palisade walls"....nope...just the sandstone fence. ....[bear of little brains sits and thinks very hard] ...one wonders if this is some sort of "clipping bug"...or is intended as a "wonderful new feature". Reckon I'm done with using sandstone bricks for fencing....maybe as a paving stone I can use them to spy on the earthworms and such...worth a try!

Plan B: all those who appreciate trees for their utility and beauty will wait in the foothills around Strongbox for the tree assassins to gather. When they commence to chop down ALL THE TREES {?!wtf?}...cut down the tree assassins. Repeatedly. What goes around...comes around. Enjoy your karma. ...oh yes, and by the way, Fo hates those who indulge in tree extermination campains. [...as do his followers, priests and Champions...but I digress] *SLAM!*

It's a big stick..and it realllly hurts when a troll smacks you with it. I remember gathering up over 90 of these troll sticks after a huge population of trolls got wiz-killed; just to get a body count. [They were multiplying like rats in a mine. Recovering ones corpse in such a situation was not going to happen; hence the assistance of one of the "game gods" to hit them with "troll insta-kill" mojo.]

...this has got to be some sort of inside joke. Banning some priest for making a perfectly legal cast of some spell...because "some people" don't receive the benefit? Pffft. If it bugs you that much...make the effort to roll your own priest and suit yourself.

...then there is the mysterious business of a long abandoned...heavily decayed deed...no visible token...ok..it could be hidden..but there is also no message of "you have entered "lalalandia"". It is to all visible metrics...an abandoned ruin. Howsumever...one cannot so much as pick up a rusting tool without getting a "the deed does not allow you to do that" or a "stealing" warning. Murf? what is going on? Buggedy code? The "system" believes that a deed is still in place? If so..why no "you have entered "mysterious bugged deed" message? ...enough to break a salvagers heart it is.

..........but never a rabbit. I miss the mobs of attack rabbits that inhabited Asheron's Call 1. Hit one rabbit...they just might swarm on you. Death of a thousand nibbles. Kept the noobies humble...and the rabbits progressing in rank. Then..there was the rabbit named Pookie...(shudder)

...yet more evidence that dragons need some serious AI rewiring. If they are going to be endlessly KOS simply for being green and mean..well.. let them learn to actively hunt their persecutors...and rank up in the process. Perhaps "earning" the "dragon slayer" title flags your toon as "kos dragon chow"...for free flying dragons...which can range...anywhere a dragon chooses. Justice...is served. [...or at least a taste of vengeance]

...all this chatter about sub forums. Last I checked all we had were surface ships powered by the wind. Seems that the tech tree is moving along smartly...really have to start paying more attention.

...another delay in the building of bridges...excellent..yes...yes.. Well...Beaker..it seems that we have a bit more time to work out the kinks in the "explosive charcoal" that will be needed to take those eyesores down in a timely manner. ...once people figure out that bridges all over the place means that "the neighbors" will be dropping in a lot more often..there should be quite a demand for our "boom charcoal"...we'll be rolling in silver, I tell you!...if only we can figure out why the mixture is not performing according to plan. ..no matter...the bridges are not out yet..we'll head 'em off at the pass...you'll see.
