    That was the case last year as well some servers didn't get eggs. Though it seems they have massively reduced the spawn rate of the eggs from bunnies, so not much loss there.
  2. This really looks like it will be fun to see ingame. So far my only question is how does this work with backpacks that hold lumps being on the toolbar? Currently I have to make sure I don't double activate the backpack or it switches modes and doesn't work with smithing.
  3. Lets say I pulled out the upper end of my charcoal, so I would have gotten roughly 8%. Compare that with any gathering skill none of them have that return, ignoring the fact that all of them allow you to get stuff near your skill level.
  4. It is really hard to compare mining to charcoal piles. Mining allows you to get ores up to your skill level if the vein allows for it. Currently at a high level you will won't see a coal pile even close to that, the walnut bonus does help but it doesn't bridge the gap. As for Material loss, many logs were tossed into the plank pile gathering the mats I needed to make the piles. All my junk ore gets tossed into a creation bin as well. Now I am not saying to make the charcoal pile come out at 95ql, but something does need to be done to the current system to improve the returns for the amount of work that goes into it. It could be allowing the charcoal pile to be imped like house walls where it would eat a whole log per imp, or improving the ql gain you get from adding the parts to the pile, or any number of other things. With 97skill tossing 95ql+ mats into a charcoal pile and getting at most 82ql piles back isn't a kind exchange for the work that goes into it. Including my steel returns was to display the effect the QL of charcoal has on making steel. 90ql Steel in of itself isn't hard to get but going for 97ql+ is where you really want high ql charcoal. With the current system there isn't a way for charcoal making to give you that. If people have to go get it from hunting instead of using the skill that is intended to make the object, then the skill is broken and needs an update.
  5. +1 to improving charcoal piles. Here is some data for people to consider. Coalmaking Skill: 97 Log ql: 95+ Kindling:95+ Dirt:100 QL (walnut piles). Metallurgy:100 I made 50 Charcoal piles and had 4 of them give 90ql charcoal. (the avg ql ended up being 84.34ql). I am turning it all into steel, 1k of the charcoal is used up already. I got about 36% 90ql steel. Using 100ql Charcoal avgs about 46% 90ql+ The QL of the charcoal matters for the avg ql of steel.

  8. Just my guess, but the time difference between the two options, is the time it takes to check each file to see if it has changed from the last time you updated the client. Where as doing a wipe and download all doesn't need to check anything so it is just based on the time your internet takes to download the file. Checking the files and only downloading the ones that have changed helps to save server costs, and when internet speeds were much slower it was the fastest way to launch.
  9. Bugged Recipe

    I was working with the Golden Peppers from the Fo Holy Site, I followed the lore chain all the way until it said [19:20:07] The items inside do not make any known recipe. Taking out any item and using lore again, ask for the item to be placed back into the container gives the same message. [19:22:09] Have you tried a fish fish broth (20% of solids)? That item may be the cause of the issue. (tried 2 types of fish, as long as they aren't the last item put in the recipe continues with lore)
