One thing I never understood about Wurm, is the lack of decorations and furniture. Granted that I've haven't played in almost a decade, but as I go through the deeds of people I see almost the same items we had way back then. And I have to wonder why? save space to keep the game light? save in polygons to render? assets too expensive? Wurm looks like the perfect game to have tons of decoration and furniture fluff, either free or gated behind pay 20+ level characters or DLC.

What do you mean by livemap? Are there other maps?

I don't know if this map is up to date. But 90% of the coastline is either built or has a road plopped down.

Didn't expect some answers(and even less their mocking/condescending tone). As a new player you check servers and walk either a little or ten miles(I spend 5 hours sailing with my new SFI character) and everything is deeded, built or fenced off and with what looks like a protected highway(which delimits what can be built or not). It is specially so in coastal areas. I have played in Minecraft anarchy servers that were more pristine than what Wurm PvE servers offer.

Thanks. But I'm currently waiting if I'm accepted in a deed in Deliverance and wanted to scout the place while the mayor logs in. So don't really know if I will accepted, and if not I received an invitation to another deed in Independence.. Also I haven't played in 9 years, how viable is making a boat on your own with a fresh character?

I started a character in Independence and I would love to move it to other(Deliverance).

Is there any other endgame for PvE besides building? Is there free land in the servers or there are still kilometer long fenced deeded areas, and people that get angry if I set up home near them? I remember having fun grinding stuff for combat as the end goal(not doing the PvP myself, just enjoyed the logistic aspect). I wonder how things have changed in the Freedom islands, and if there's new end game things to do besides building and having a set of drake. armor. Also kinda nostalgic looking at the pics of the game now, guess everyone I knew is dead now. Hell even my toon that was on Epic is dead as it seems I didn't transfer it to Freedom(RIP 80 smithing).
