Hi guys. I wonder is there a lone soul that remember me hehe... Had one of the highest Fighting and Sword skill back at Home server. Well. Lets get down to business. So following Notch's and Rolf's footsteps - i've made game. And I must say, during that i've learned to respect any GameDevs out there much much MUUUCH more then I used to. Being a player - you have no idea how much hard work is being done behind the stage. And from now on, I will be more careful, when complaining about a game.[/p] Well, having that beside. The game I made from scratch. Graphics, sound effects, voice samples, music, animations, all the code and everything. All alone. Minecraft as a game, due to its creative nature, brings creative audience togather. Thats why i would like to invite you to have a look at my creation. I am always dying for feedback. Its very hard to judge your own game. My opinion is biased. So i would like to hear yours. Oh and don't worry - i am not here to milk your wallet. The game is freeware. I am really not at the stage to have guts to demand money for my creation. I have a long way to go before that. But without audience, feedback, support - I won't manage to go anywhere. If I dream to expand and improve - I cannot do it alone. I need you guys. So please, don't mark my thread as spam Even Notch started somewhere. Even Notch was the "little guy" at first. And how can I evolve if i am forbiden to look for audience...? You can't play a game if you don't know it even exists. The story behind the game is a rather tragic one. But mind you - I am not telling it to feed on other people pity. I am 30yo. I have a wife and 4years old son name Jacob. We live in Poland. Its a poor country of poor people. And we are not diffrent. This year started very bad for us. Many unexpected, bad things happend. And we had to spent a lot of money. Mostly for our son healthcare, our house which was kind a devastated and other things. In past 3 months things kept going down. I felt scared. I didn't know what to do. I was running out of ideas. So I took all that fear, all that madness, sorrow, anger and misery... and made a game out of it. Hoping I might become free. It was not planed. It came out of the blue. But it did helped me. At least in case of my morales. It chear my up. Took the focus elsewhere. Enabled me to recover. As i said above - I do not aim to make your eyes wet. Thats not the point. Just to inform you of the status. Because the background is importand. The game is practily me. Myself. Translated and weaved into sounds, graphics and motion. Knowing story behind the game - you will gain a lot wider perspective when(if) playing. So much from me. I hope forum moderators won't erase this thread. It's not like I am selling viagra or offering to enlarge your.... lower parts hehe. The game is freeware. And I am more of a "sharing" rather then "advertising". I wish one day I will be able to dive back inside Wurm and get owned by champion scorpion (if they still exist). Till then - Kudos and take care
