bashur i know you have good intentions. its the whole reson i joined you back in arkanon and markanon. i wish to help you and help you build the city of your dreams. i think the phrase goes "if you dont build your dreams youll end up beuilding someone elses" well im volinterring to help build yours. i worked with you for over a month back in arkanon before you got banned :L we did our best to keep the 2 cities in one piece and failed.... thus we all moved to safer horizons.....but we all slowly quit playing the game. i was the last person the quit wurm after you, reymas, and lastly knight yan, had quit playing. i have lost everything to traitors on the jenn kellon server who stabbed me in the back and took everything i had even after living with them for 2 monts. i now have nothing. not even a reson to play the game. not a single tool to my person, nor even food, but now that your back i have a purpose and a safehaven to go to, a place where i can play and not get robbed and killed on a regular basis. it is because of you i started playing wurm and now ill help you keep playing it. for so long as you are here lord bashur you shall be king of the goonies and my leader.

simple right? just add a function that lets you tie 1 or 2 horses to a catapult and have them pull it. and have 1 person sit on the catapuld and control it like a cart. it would make siege warfare alot easier hit and run tatics and stuff. besides they've had animals pulling siege wepons for thousands of years. like in lord of the rings

firstly when i tried to log into wurm today using my desktop short cut is said "this is outdated and can no longer be found" or somthing like that so i deleted it. then i try starting wurm from my menue thingy in bottome left of the screen and that did the same thing. so then i went onto the wurm site to download it again so i clicked the "play" button and it keeps giving me this error every time ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- javaâ„¢ Web Start 10.5.1.255-ea X bad installation. no JRE found in configuration file ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ im on vista if that helps any i really hope someone can tell me whats wrong i need to check if my village has been destroyed yet

welp...time to murder this thread and bury it. now just gotta find someone to lock it :L

+1 the branches themselves could be sharpened into a pointy stick and used as a very crude weapon as well

i understand that wurm is suppost to be laborious and a continuous never ending game where to take long amouts of time to do somthing. but lock picking (next to shipwrighting) is the most tedious and time consuming of them all. it took me and 2 friends (one has an affinity for lockpicking) 2 hours and 24 lockpicks just to open 4 carts with very poor locks on them. and we were even using 70 quality lock picks. in the process i even raised my lockpicking 5 levels adn the chance of success hasnt even rose a whole 1% . its so tedious that it was no longer fun to even try and open the carts. i just wanted to smash them to get the stuff and i stil think that would have been easier and faster than the lockpicking. my sugestion is that the chance of success when lockpicking sould be just a bit higher. even a little. and it would be alot less tedious and leveling the skill would actually have a purpose. plus lockpicking is a skill mostly available to only premium players (requires 25 locksmithing to make lock picks) so why should it be so difficult to use after we worked (and payed) so hard in order to be able to use it?
