  1. Between ours is including the following: Hints: For non deeded wilderness settlements, use house gates not ordinary gates, and good ql stone walls. Strategicaly place housing to restrict other players dropping a deed over anything you wish to protect. This will help you to help us in restricting possible griefing. So this shows a suggestion of how to help protect an area from deeding yet perimeters prevent this possible protection. I just wanted to show that the rules are very vague in stating that you could loose everything you worked on or for unless you place a deed. It is suggested and can be interpreted but not explicitly stated. Either way my comments and arguments won't go anywhere out of this thread so it is a moot point in any more discussion on my part.
  2. So if deed it or loose it is the higher law why is it not listed on the rules page? I have heard this unwritten law and if it is in fact a rule then it should be added to the rules list. Perimeters: Perimeters are considered as part of the wilderness. I can repair my house in wilderness but I can't repair in perimeter, so is this rule incorrect or is not being able to repair a bug? Firstly, we have to clarify that the deed perimeter you pay for is only an insurance to possibly expand your existing deed. It does not give the deed holder ownership of the perimeter area. Also, you can only expand out until your perimeter touches another deeds perimeter. So in that respect if your perimeter already touches another perimeter you cannot expand unless you have purchased extra tiles plus the default 5 tiles. If you have purchased extra tiles then you will have the ability to expand until you reach the default 5 tile perimeter. "It does not give the deed holder ownership of the perimeter area." So how is the ability to force someone off of the land not ownership? If that is intended to say the deed laws do not apply to perimeter then say that. Also if not being able to repair is intended it needs to be stated somewhere.
  3. So it is illegal to break into an enclosure that is fenced in with a house, but yet it is perfectly legal to expand a perimeter over the same enclosure performing basically the same action (by not being able to repair the house) just taking longer to do it. Obviously this would be extremely rude, but completely legal by the game rules and the one with the "protected" enclosure could do nothing about it. So by means of allowing a semi grace period it is acceptable to break into someone's enclosure?

  5. Oh, i just went to log in and it worked fine this time, really weird bug. Hope they are able to resolve it soon.
  6. AH, currently I am about 40 tiles North of valhall on exodus. It would be awesome if a GM could port me also XD. If needed I can log on, just let me know on here.
  7. Well this is fun, I was logged on for about an hour or so, made a few meals and was going to go mine for a bit and during mid walk i got disconnected/reconnect lagged. I decided to restart the game, same thing. Then I did logout from computer, log back in (soft restart) same, and after a complete reboot same. So it seems to me to be server side. Looks like my cycle is log in/disc/reconnect/disc ..etc is about 3-4 sec (guessing how long it takes to reconnect. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
  8. Dog has been filled, Fier has been MIA for a few days. I think the floor boards were already filled also.
  9. Why twice in a row, that is completely unacceptable imo. Thanks for the extra .5 sleep bonus by the way, it totally makes up for those 12-16 hours lost. If their process of testing is to put it on server and see what happens then a backup should be made when the servers shut down for maintance and if major problems happen like this, do a roll back to that point once you get the problems settled. And for the stone/iron fence idea, how do you know it wont happen to them next? Also I haven't had enough time to replace my pens with the stone ones since the last update.
  10. This "bug" has happened twice in two days now. I wonder if they will do a roll back on this one, Probably not, but curious. Wasted those two hours yesterday finding and taming a female black bear. I just wish a little more checking was done to prevent major game altering problems. In total I will probably have lost around 12 hours of in game time in 3 days. I call an iron lump having the image of a frying pan and acting like it can be improved (even though it can't) a bug. Fences not holding animals I call a problem.
  11. Oh, I also did /support, they suggested I make a post in the forums. It appears the wurm way is dev's screw up and the customers have to suck it up. That is fine, I won't pay a dime to support the game anymore. I have gotten most of my skill loss back, but still have to go out and search/tame new animals and start the breeding process over. I'll post rough estimates of time lost once I get things back in order. I just don't understand why a backup at maintenance shutdown isn't made for time like this. If it didn't happen often I could understand, but I have been playing only two months and this type of thing has happened at least twice.
  12. I'm starting this thread in hopes that others will count up and post their losses from the most recent problem of wooden fences being passable by animals. If a rollback is not an option I would like some kind of recoup for the losses that I and others have personally experienced. I estimate my losses would take approximately 6-8 hours to reverse not including the time lost from bred animals. I also died twice during this time due to trying to use a wooden pen, which should have been safe, to protect me and the second time trying to get back to my house, but not being able to make it. I have listed my losses below in hopes of receiving some of them back. Losses 4 brown bears - 1 with lightning speed - 1 with HP bonus 1 fierce black bear 1 rat 2 champ mountain lions Survived 1 brown bear 1 fierce black bear 2 rats 1 champ mountain lion Skills Body 0.02 Body Strength 0.02 Swords 0.25 Axes 0.25 Hatchet 0.25 woodcutting 0.25 digging 0.25 pottery 0.25 blade smithing 0.25 beverages 0.25 foraging 0.025 Scythe 0.025
  13. Upon server restart I have noticed at different times my animals going from fat to normal. This happened about a month ago, but I have not noticed it again until within the last week or so, and today I log in to find one of my animals dead. I have noticed this seems to be found in rats, cats, and mountain lions. I do not remember or have not noticed it in other creatures. I can provide more details if needed.
  14. The recent updated made it to where Fishing Rods (specifically fine fishing rods) can not be improved. Is this an error or how it will be from now on? If this is how it is then the wiki will need to be updated. Thanks
  15. Thank you rocky that was very helpful
