Currently we cannot build flowerbeds on structure tile borders. I suggest to allow it to be built where fences are allowed in buildings. It would allow nice terraces like when built between the marble planters on the below image.

I was going to come and comment on the pavement issue, but looks like Amadee and Kelody beat me to it hehe. Well good to see others are bothered by this. Since I already went to the effort to take screenshots and make a photoshop image, I'll post it anyhow and join the pavement choir! In Wurm Unlimited, I was so troubled with connecting bridges looking so bad, that I replaced the normal cobblestone texture with the stone bridge texture so I could get it to look somehow reasonable. This is an emergency fix for WU, but it would be be nice if it was in the game by default. Oh and while we're at it, it would be nice if we had a fence type that was consistent with the edge of the bridge. Now I'm using the stone fence, but it just looks dumb sticking up like that.

Bless will fail but its low difficulty, so it will succeed after a couple of casts with no channeling, so not an issue. You can also cast Genesis with it, which he failed to mention, although I cant remember how hard it was to cast. There is also courier. You wont get any prize winning cast, but you will land a 15 cast on it after a couple tries with no channeling, which is a godsent when you want to recieve mails and dont care about send speed. Nahjo is very useful as a battery, and channeling is super easy to grind, so I would say its a good purchase, if you are getting a starter priest.

The easiest fix is to make a popup system that has 6 random questions and you have to answer one correct to continue. These can be 6 security questions added to an account that helps secure your account to prevent someone just stealing your account. Then you wouldn't need this cool down. If you answer the question wrong you have to wait a hour before next popup. this way you couldn't macro selecting the right answer and bypass the check. something of this nature would be better to stop macroing rather than punishing people who actually have the time to grind like that. Edit I don't play wurm like that but in 1999 there where days i'd play ever quest 24 hrs straight and alot of times for first 2 years i played it 16 to 20 hrs a day between a 12 hr shift job. I think I would have stomped up a storm at soe if they had a system like this back then.

problem is because everyone treats wurm as a money grab it is boring and a turn off. Example 121 action timers to make a single pottery wall is such a boring task. dig 10 scoops of clay = 10 actions, dig a scoop of sand = 1 action, turn to 20 mortar = 20 actions, pottery brick dig clay use hand to make brick then fire it in kiln ech brick weighs 5kg each clay weighs 2kg, takes 5 clay digs to make 2 bricks, so 50 clay actions then 20 brick actions = 70 actions then add to kiln fire. Now make wall another 20 actions totaling 121 actions. Not everyone wants to burn threw there wallet so they don't have to make a item in a game. Millions are not lazy and prefier to do it them selves and they get super board when to accomplish a single wall it take x amount of time and 121 actions. Who does it hurt stream lining and evolving wurm oh yea i'm sorry your chance to make a buck and strip the fun out of a game. And people want to know why WU took so many people away from WO.

One of things I can reveal for now - no more problems with manually setting the elevation. If deed is coastal all heights will be correct, otherwise deed will be exported with height lowered to be just above the water level in DeedPlanner.

Known issues, I am working on that. I am doing large overhaul of the whole deed export feature, so this takes a bit of time... But will be worth it.

With all the new building materials and wall types, something I always felt missing from Wurm is log cabins. We have palisades already, but their style doesn't fit with the clean-cut wooden house walls. These could either be used as cheap, no nails required noobie-friendly houses that are quick to make, or with increased difficulty a rustic home for anyone...I'm not sure what is best. Could always do both! Could either require logs or fallen trees, much like palisades...whichever works best. Add some daub (Clay + grass) to finish.

Making bricks can be a long boring process that can turn many people away from WO or WU who play with out gm powers. So why not evolve wurm a bit in the art of making bricks. Instead of making a single brick at a time industrialize it a bit by making brick molds. example make brick mold then fill brick mold with x amount kg of clay then but mold in kiln till hardened. mold produces 6 to 12 bricks based on how much kg of clay is allowed in the mold maybe the mold has 8 or 10 slots so you use that much clay to fill the mold. stone bricks should remain the way they are now cause they have to be chipped into brick but clay can and should use a mold system.

I've updated the WurmServerModApi to include common from 1.3.5.5 and to have coloring for orange trees, rock salt, and sandstone. Something I did a while back and updated today is an easy way to grab this package into your own projects! I've been using Jitpack, which does a just-in-time maven packaging for Github repositories. Information on how to pull this into your own projects can be found here: https://jitpack.io/#codeclubab/WurmModServerApi/1.3.5.5 I'll be working on a TravisCI config that will automatically ping Jitpack on releases in the future. The best part about this is that WurmServerModApi includes common, which is quite nice when working on standalone projects (such as MapViewer). No need to drag in a jar file as it's built into this package. For future updates, I will be trying to time updates to this package with updates to WU. This way beta and live will exist as they do in Steam and the version of the WurmServerModApi and included common will match the version of WU available. That should help anyone using this package in the future.

I'm just trying to get over reading a post that seems to be trying to justify microtransactions. I was kinda hoping as gamers we could all agree together that those are horrible o.o

Just had the idea when I logged in today, that it'd be kinda nice if we could see our current karma, when we hover the mouse over our healthbar, much like how we can see our current Favor (which was added something "fairly recently"), wouldn't be a huge thing, but it'd still be nice to just see it every so often instead of having to type a command or open the karma window

Just a tip I use sometimes. If you wish to summon something from very far away (without flying all the way). Maybe an altar on the other side of the world. Log on two GMs. GM1 is at the altar, GM2 at the new location. GM1 rightclicks the altar to bring up menu. GM2 summons GM1. GM1 clicks the already open menu to summon the altar.

-1 who will moderate the moderators if all users are moderators.... Basically, I don't like player base managed forums. The volunteer system with titles is a great way for players to give back to the community while still retaining the structure of an official staff run professional forum.

i like the idea of a new item to manage personal bank rather than using existing tokens. Would be nice to see it incorporate the ledger idea that's floating around another suggestion thread. +1 we need to have more options for handling our coins.

@Erlindurchopping trees with deity 'permission' is ok(for these who's deity usually disallows that), mining.. kind of, but continue and improving are dipping into the salty parts of this discussion :/ I'd rather use a timed buff with a constant or varying timer, ..instead of praying for blessed item, and than using the item on a tree/rock tile/etc.. to be able to chop/mine/... I can't think of a way to allow priests to continue and improve things.(it just blurs the borders) And if that is done... why should crafters not receive the equal ability to cast spells whenever they feel like it, with equivalent random new mechanic to also annoy them before they're allowed to use the spells? Than we're just half a step from mixing the 2 and into 1 'class' and doing everything from 1 character.

Just because it doesnt affect you it doesnt mean is not important. A hard "playtime" cap does nothing. A botter can simply cycle accounts once they reach fatigue. And guess what? It can be made automatic. Once the cap is reached, they close that client and start a new one. In fact, it makes it harder to catch the botter because they are forced to "log off" after a predetermined amount of time, only to then cycle to the next account. While the real player has to fume and feel frustrated because they can no longer play the game. If a bot/macro ran 18-24 hours a day for a week straight, on the same account, I am sure a GM would come investigate. Caught. But someome that plays 12 hours a day or less does not attract attention. Pray tell then, how is this system beneficial?
