Allow us to turn fur and pelts into leather. Option one: Use knife on fur or pelt to turn it into hide. Option two: Use lye on fur or hide to turn it into leather directly.

Here is a suggestion: Can someone make an addon that when you mouse over an animal it will show you if the animal is pregnant and if so how many days it has. This could be tied to AH skill and only show if you have a certain amount. Thanks

Just my opinion but market and real life money for virtual item trading should never be the basic of gameplay balance. Better player retention > some happy people making money in a video game Same DR as steel, steel takes way less damage compared to now, done, big deal if steel isn't as useful. No different than longsword and large metal being the meta for many years and people stocking up/selling them and then the metas branch out and those items aren't near as popular as before. If it's REALLY that bad for a virtual market, then just make it Epic only, none of us will complain pretty sure Sorry, that's another thing ruined by the desire to make money off a video game. No matter how much moon metal is on Freedom, that won't change. If you really want moon metal, this is a good incentive to join a kingdom on chaos/epic, where it's more about the players succeeding rather than selling things. Where people give away tomes for free rather than trying to make 100-400e+ or whatever insane value per charge. That said, even with these armor balances I kinda doubt pvpers will be making moon chain, especially coifs that don't protect the face I mean that's a disaster waiting to happen unless we just finally let every hat protect the face. Precedent: summer hats don't visually cover face but pretty sure they do

Holding back on variety of armor types and materials able to create armor will continue to hinder the game in options for players. There is nothing wrong with iron plate and in real life it does exist. Iron is not the same strenght as steel so in terms of Damage reduction it could be 60% instead of 65 of steel plate. Make it a tiny bit heavier as well that affects speed by something like .5km this way it is a bit heavier a bit slower and a bit weaker in the DR department then steel plate. But at the same time it provides a new options new players can get their hands on a little bit easier. Give it the same resistances and vulnerabilities as the new armor stats of steel plate. People stop worring about your pockets and realize the greater potential allowing more options for newer players. It can be implemented in a way that provides the option but at the same time is inferior to its predecessor.

imo iron armor needs to come to pvp servers, it's another blocker having to get steel.

Don't listen to them! Add iron (and copper and bronze and gold and silver, etc.) plate, buff Steel to actually be desirable instead of arbitrarily mandatory.

This mod will allow your players to craft all the various pauldrons that are now available in the latest release. The properties file will allow you to adjust the difficulty for crafting each pauldron type. Note that an 80 difficulty gives a 51% chance with an 80ql tool, 80ql material, and 60 skill. I have made the required crafting skill be adjusted based on the model of the type of pauldron. The skills are plate armour smithing, chain armour smithing, leatherworking, jewel crafting, and pottery (pottery used for skulls and boars). Also there is 1 carpentry pauldrontype. We can Rclick "Float" the Friends tab, causing the Friends list to pop outside of the Event/Friends/Combat etc. chat tab; would be awesome to be able to float the Local tab player list so that you don't have to resize the entire chat window in order to extend the local list.

Please allow us to undock the actually useful ( ) tabs as well. I mean both windows, don't forget about the chat and IRC tabs. Currently the only floatable tabs are support and the friend list.

Quick update. I've raised more land from the sea at the base of the bridge in two sections.. anyone crossing the Tap Dance <> Blackflame Island bridge will notice what we've done. As part of this dirt raising, the last leg of the bridge that's turned south is no longer relevant as it's not needed. Travel has not been impeded and crossing is still easily had. If anyone finds it difficult, please PM me here or in-game, I want to make these transitions as easy as possible for everyone.

Yes, in the process of trying to solve the Steam preparing to launch glitch I uninstalled and reinstalled Wurm Unlimited. I made sure all firewalls and background applications were shut off during installation.

Offhand, have you tried deleting the game via Steam (aka uninstalling) and redownloading? There used to be a problem with file corruption causing WU to not launch.. at least I remember there being a problem. I recall having to redownload WU a second time when I bought it and it worked fine afterward.

So I disband one of my big deed a few weeks ago. Then come back after a few weeks to pick up my alts and see the whole area trashed by a rift. What a surprise that was. Edit: I disbanded that deed 14 days before the rift spawned in the middle of it.

Paying deep upkeep beyond 30 days should shut off ALL DECAY, period. Want a motivator for people to plant deeds, spend coin, and care about Wurm? Turn off decay when they do! Let decay serve to clean up the land when people abandon it, not torture people who live there.

Yeah I think the rift manual spawner at the starter deed should be removed since someone is trolling the server by spawning hundreds of them...

I'm sure its easy to get proof to cover your actions when you go in with the intent of ripping off your friends, as they aren't going to screenshot every conversation they have with you ahead of time because its not likely their friend would ###### them. Regardless, i'll leave this thread to stew on its own. I'll just say that any auction/WTS comment you make for the remaining duration we both play the game will get slammed with notices, at the very least wave your reputation goodbye if nothing is done on an official level.

Okay so simply put, the only people with access to my house are very close friends of mine, one which you had managed to claim the account back off, the others are his family members, and a close friend of mine who has been inactive for 3 years. Out of all the accounts that had access to my house, only my friends father has been logged in other than Rara. A person I've known for 8 years, has no interest in the money side of the game or value. So out of two accounts that could get access, it leaves only Rara, you mentioned I had no proof, but you told the GM investigating you did in fact take things, your claims to say otherwise now are contradicting. Soon after you obtained my items, you put up a WTS scale set, which is likely one of mine. I've since heard you've had an account banned for macroing with another scale set on, and there's probably one sitting on Rara. The account that was added was within the last week or so, and likely an attempt at making a scapegoat. You keep spewing this 'u got no proof' nonsense, where you just hide behind the technicalities of the rules to avoid being punished which I admit, fair game, well played. This topic isn't really to get my items back (although it would be nice) it's to point out you're an actual ###### head and question why you've not been permanently removed from the game. The thing that annoys me is that when I mentioned 'Trenith' to a friend GM who I hadn't mentioned my issue to, they immediately knew the background history of 'buying characters in hopes to get access to peoples deeds, and running off with their stuff'. I've since had a GM confirm Trenith is actually TinTin which we know is you. Another thing that bothers me.. While I appreciate the efforts of those who looked into the matter for me, I feel there's a lot of evidence to suggest this individual did infact sell the account, the logs below show Ruger selling the account (earlier in this thread he claims he never sold it) The quote underneath suggests Tronn has access to this. Tronn's only account to improve to 90 he's had was Rara, there's further posts he makes which relate to Rara's skill sets. The only thing you could say is that you never sold it to Tronn, unfortunately I don't have access to Tronns forum account to actually see the messages, or whether Forum Mod's can actually check the messages. I don't need to see you take everything when all the points connect to each other, with the fact you make contradicting statements and a history of changing forum accounts when you are associated with theft. I figured my permissions were fine, but due to another individuals fault I was also at a loss. I know the rules and I accept them which is why I never made my own post weeks ago. While I believe there's evidence to possibly get the account back a GM has said further investigation needs to come from my buddy so i'm at a loss there also. Hopefully this thread is enough for the GM's to look into this individual and see whether he's a worthy asset to the community. I'm glad to hear of other peoples stories.

Honestly MD it doesn't matter even if he sold the account or not. He had access to your stuff through an account he still had access to. As far as the GMs are concerned anyway, it's all legit. Obviously I think that ruling is complete ######, having been on the receiving end of that many times.

I would actually agree if Mag followers could get a "deity bonus" for this. of 1% improvement bonus for every 10 faith? Definitely a priest bonus for Mag,

+1 if priests can do it and +2 if mag priests get a bonus to this skill (10% higher QL for the same weight loss)

To be fair it kinda is, Epic are denied 100 titles because of 'ruining the secrets' yet Freedom got more tomes in one week when first implemented than Epic did in years but it was perfectly ok to ruin the secrets, and even with the crappy drop rate they still get more tomes and discover secrets about title combos. So if we want to balance and make things fair why stop there.
